I use aloe for aftersun and regularly as alternative to body lotion during summers. This product is the BEST AFTERSUN I've used so far (I can say I have tried every Aloe gel that exists). It really reliefs and heals the burn fast (even my boyfriend thought it was amazing on our vacation). But remember, ALOE (in general) ISN'T AS LONG LASTING AS LOTIONS. so IF YOU WANT TO AVOID PEELING USE RICH LOTION AFTER ALOE AND REAPPLY THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I like banana boat aftersun lotion but any body lotion should do.
If you are like me and like to use aloe everyday, this isn't the best for everyday (it's very thick). then try vaseline brand aloe.

I first bought this for my boyfriend who had a horrible burn, ALL over his back and legs, looked like a tomato! This helped the pain instantly and the next day he was painfree and the redness went away. I use this whenever i have a burn (i'm tan)and it never peels or itches. I have found NUMEROUS uses for this. I use it after i shave the "delicate" areas to prevent bumps. I use it on bites, irritated skin, and now my face! I had a horrible reaction to Salicylic acid (used a facewash and toner with 2.0% OOOWWW) my cheeks, jaw and neck were big red and bumpy with little zits. I put this on one night and the next morning my face was 90% better. Since then i have been using it as my daily moisturizer. I have never been happier, my face is clearier and even the skin tone is even. i have NO reaction to this and it settles the redness beautifully!! This is the greatest stuff ever!!!!!!

WAS ON VACATION A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND WHILE OUT ON THE LAKE, WE ALL GOT A LITTLE TOO MUCH SUN. NOT PACKING ANY ALOE FOR OUR TRIP, WE WENT TO THE LOCAL STORE AND OCEAN POTION WAS ALL THEY HAD.
