The scent/flavor is very mild, and reminds me of a creamsicle. I really appreciate the high SPF (45), and the fact that it's water-resistant is also very nice, because it means less frequent application. This product is easy to apply, unlike some lip balms that I've tried that are very hard and waxy. It's also not overly soft, and I've never had a problem with it melting in my pocket. Best Uses Comments about Ocean Potion Suncare Moisturizing Lip Potion, SPF 45, .15 oz: I read some reviews and most were great so I was hopeful to find another high spf (over 30spf) that would work. I already used Banana Boat but based on some of the reviews this looked like it might be even more waterproof and durable. I did read a couple of reviews were they felt the balm was scratchy and rough and thought maybe they got an old batch so didn't pay close attention. I was wrong. I got mine and it was immediately like using a loofah or an exfoliant on my lips. If I was looking for that then great! But I just wanted high spf sun protection for my lips, that was long lasting but also went on smoothly. Sadly this is just too rough for my lips.

Its like im apply lip balm with sand in it.. How weird is that. And it leaves a heavy layer on top of my lip. When trying to smack my lips its bumpy and makes my skin peel aswell

My daughters and I use it daily, whether going to school or outdoors in the sun and the 45 SPF is a bonus. The orange scent is wonderful, but not too much and it's long lasting on your lips.
