The scent/flavor is very mild, and reminds me of a creamsicle. I really appreciate the high SPF (45), and the fact that it's water-resistant is also very nice, because it means less frequent application. This product is easy to apply, unlike some lip balms that I've tried that are very hard and waxy. It's also not overly soft, and I've never had a problem with it melting in my pocket. It works great and stays on fairly long even in the pool. I liked it so much I ordered more. This morning when I opened it up it was empty! No stick inside...there was no evidence of even having anything inside, clean as a whistle my dad would say.

I already used Banana Boat but based on some of the reviews this looked like it might be even more waterproof and durable. I did read a couple of reviews were they felt the balm was scratchy and rough and thought maybe they got an old batch so didn't pay close attention. I was wrong. I got mine and it was immediately like using a loofah or an exfoliant on my lips. If I was looking for that then great! But I just wanted high spf sun protection for my lips, that was long lasting but also went on smoothly. Sadly this is just too rough for my lips.
