I use this for running. It doesn't run into my eyes or sting my eyes. I find the physical type of sunblock to be much more effective than the chemical type. I put on a lot before running and it does have a whitish cast, but I don't care as long as I am protected while I am out in the sun.

I have other Ocean Potion Sunblocks which I like very much, but I am very disappointed with this tinted sunblock. When I use this product my face looks chalky and ghost-like. Don't waste your money on this.

I am always glad to find mineral sunscreens for the face that are reasonably priced and not greasy. This one is good except that I do need to use a moisturizer with it. I don't have a problem with it being white on my skin. I wonder if others who do have that problem are smoothing it in well enough.? I like it. The SPF 45 is also great for this Southern lady!

I like this under my makeup....
Great protection....I have fair skin...it makes it more fair! I just buy a foundation that is one shade darker to put over it to balance out......It is worth it! I Live in Houston...high humidity...and the uva/uvb is max everyday in the summer and into fall.
In the winter I switch to a spf 15....this rubs in well...moisturizes...in the winter I think that much zink is a bit drying with makeup.
But love it!

I like this sunscreen, but yes it is tinted and that tint is white. It's a perfect face base for Goths. However, if you use a small amount and rub it in, it tends to blend more with the color of your skin. I'm a fair skinned white woman so I have no idea how it would work on dark complexions. Besides from the protection it offers, it seems to be good for my skin. I have skin that tends toward oily and have a problem with enlarged pores & blackheads. After using this for a week, my skin looks smoother and my pores are less noticeable. Frankly I'm amazed and happy about it. After letting it dry, I've used face powder on top and it looks fine. I probably need more coverage, but it's so hot here that make up really doesn't stay on your face in July & August anyway and this stuff does. It doesn't break me out either. I bet it would work as a foundation for any make up you'd like to put on top and I plan on testing that out soon. I will buy this again.

I live in the desert and this product provides me with a lot of protection from the sun. It will run if you are exercising and sweating. The color goes on like makeup, its a little bit too light. A mineral bronzer can be your best friend while using this product.

I usually LOVE Ocean Potion Products. Unfortunately this one is not a winner. It is so thick and is not easy to apply. The color is not flattering either :-(

The tint of the sunscreen will not match many skin tones. When I put it on, it looked like I was wearing a white mask and it never blended. Do not use this product!

This product is a life-saver. My daughter, 13 years old, has been using it for one year. She has very fair skin and is sensitive to all chemical sunscreens. This product gives her a very faint glow (does not turn white on the skin) and she so prefers it to the pure titanium dioxide/zinc oxide heavy white products. Thank you for carrying this product.
