Well designed, long nozzle effectively gets the product well up into the nose where it can work better. Most nasal sprays cannot be applied this well and this thoroughly. It really does the job completely. A wonderful product to have around if you suffer from dry nasal passages and related issues. Great for use during colds or flu, allergy season, etc.
I love the Ocean Complete, with the ability to use the spray or the irrigator. I am recovering from septoplasty, turbinate reduction and maxillary sinus surgery. I need to really clean out the upper sinus about 7+ times each day. The irrigator works the best. This sprays inside the nostril and little bit up into the sinus passage, but not enough to allow it go through and drain into the throat - my goal, so I know it has cleaned the whole passage.
I've used the old squeeze bottles of Ocean for years but this new pressurized cannister is ridiculous! It's under way too much pressure and the solution ends up all over the place, including my face, or the bathroom wall when the nozzle comes loose. You end up wasting a lot. I've gone back to using the old plastic squeeze bottle where you can control the stream needed. The solution itself is the best available - just difficult to use in the pressurized cannisters!
Read the ingredients before purchasing! I found this to feel like inhaling chlorinated water. It's very drying-I found myself more dry after using this that not using it at all. I have severe allergies and have used Simply Saline and thought this would be better, but it is definitely not!
This is the best saline spray I've ever used, and I have tried a lot of them for my allergies, as well as for the dryness/irritation I get during the winter. The spray gets up high into your nose, and really feels like it is cleaning things out, as well as wetting all the nasal membranes really well.
To moisturize, insert nozzle into each nostril and press to restore moisture to dry nasal passages. Use as often as needed (non-habit forming, non-addicting).
