I bought this on sale, instead of the product I normally buy. It doesn't spray well, more of a stream so you have to spread it out after applying. But the effort is wasted anyway. It did not keep mosquitos from landing and biting at all.

I wouldn't normally buy anything with DEET in it, but I didn't want my husband to suffer on our recent trip to Minnesota (my home state). He's a mosquito magnet and my parents live on a lake! The pest count was low this year, but we did go tramping through the woods, down to the lake and into the canoe--he came out virtually bite-free. He also didn't make the entire canoe smell terribly, which was a plus for me! I could carry it around in my bag without *it* smelling like DEET either, another big plus. If I had to buy the nasty chemicals, at least everything around me didn't have to smell like them.

scent was awful & it has deet in it, which is bad for people & the environment. went against my rule of using eco-friendly products to see if it actually prevented bugs from reaching my skin. this product is a no.

This is a really easy to use spray...unlike some of the other bug repellents. It works really well at keeping the bugs at bay. It is great too that it is unscented, so you don't end up with something that smells like chemicals or anything else.

I like the pump spray bottle and the odor is certainly more tolerable, but I found this products effectiveness limited, at least on my body here in Florida where mosquitoes can eat you alive in a matter of minutes in some areas. More than likely this is due to the low % of DEET in the solution used. It works, just not for very long, and not against the more aggressive mosquitoes.

The upside is that this does not smell bad, is easy to apply, and works effectively. Here is the downside. If you leave it on for more than half an hour, it can make sensitive skin look ruddy. Not immediately, but when you wash it off your face, you notice your complexion is irritated. This goes away in 12 hours. The problem with most insect repellants is that they are irritating to skin. Due to the lower concentration of deet, I thought this would be less irritating. Not the case.

This was better than most insect repellants because there was no odor and the spray bottle is better than an aerosol spray can. The product worked well at repelling insects. Also, when sprayed, it streamed instead of misting out. I'd recommend this product to my friends, especially those with kids.

I found that this product did a good job of repelling insects, and I put it to a good test during the hot summer, when there were lots of nighttime bugs. I found that although it's labeled "unscented, there was still a faint "Off" odor, although it wasn't really unpleasant. I'm not sure what the real purpose of the addition of the aloe vera is, but all in all it's a good insect repellant.

I was pleasantly surprised when I applied this to my skin. The spray quickly dried, leaving no oily residue typical of most anti-bug products. This is important down here in humid Florida. I actually felt cooler because I wasn't being smothered under a layer of oily ointment. There was no pungent odor either, just a hint of aloe. I'm sure that most women and children will appreciate that. And of course, it kept all the mosquitoes away. I think the fact that the product comes in a pump bottle rather than a spray can is another advantage -- there's no worry about it losing its propellant when it's stored in the back of a hot trunk for extended periods of time. I'd definitely recommend this product to friends and family.
