Comments about Oilatum Cleansing Bar, Unscented, 3.5 oz, 1 ea: I never thought I'd pay more than $1 for a simple bar of soap, but I got tired of dry skin. All of the other bar soaps I tried either left my skin greasy or even drier and I've tried many types costing well over $1. Oilatum is the first bar soap I've used that cleans well and leaves my skin soft and natural feeling. It also seems to last a fairly long time compared to all of the other bar soaps I've used. It would be even better if it were cheaper, but it's the best I've found so far at any price. Pros

Comments about Oilatum Cleansing Bar, Unscented, 3.5 oz, 1 ea: Used Stiefel's "Acne Aid" soap for years when my skin was oily and acne prone. Now that I'm older I've switched to Stiefel's "Oilatum" soap. It's a terrific product. I use body wash for showering but I prefer soap on my face. Most liquid facial cleansers leave my face with dry patches, red spots, and little bumps. And bar soap can dry me out like crazy. This soap leaves my skin clear and not dried out. It's unscented, lathers great, rinses clean, very mild. And it's better than ever ... I believe a main ingredient used to be tallow (animal fat) but it's not listed in the ingredients now so it must have been removed. That's a good thing. I ordered six bars from Drugstore.com so this should last me for a while! Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Oilatum Cleansing Bar, Unscented, 3.5 oz, 1 ea: i enjoy this soap... have tried many others for my dry itchy skin and i like this one the best even better than gels.... there is no scent and i love that too.... lathers great and lasts a long time... i have also started rubbing almond oil all over when i get out of the shower and it goes into my skin quickly and also no scent... my skin feels much better.... Comments about Oilatum Cleansing Bar, Unscented, 3.5 oz, 1 ea: The dermatologist recommended this cleansing bar about six years ago and I have been using it ever since. It has helped calm my sensitive skin and keep the dryness away. When it was not available for a while I was really upset but, I am thrilled to see it back in production. Quite frankly, there is no other product to compare it with. Service and delivery comments: Drugstore.com does a good job of shipping this product. It arrived in good condition although it took a little longer than I anticipated to arrive. Pros

Comments about Oilatum Cleansing Bar, Unscented, 3.5 oz, 1 ea: This is the best soap out there for dry skin that is sensitive. It was unavailable for a long time, and I tried the other options suggested by my dermatologist. They all smell rancid. This one does not. It is worth the extra money, but is not always available. Ask your druggist and dermatologist. They all know oilatum. ![]() |
