Ever since I was 13 I would always use this because it's what my mom would use. One time after I ran out I went to the store looking for some and it wasn't on the shelves so instead I picked up some Cetaphil. Thats when I realized that this moisturizer isn't that great. It does smell WONDERFUL and works fine as a summer moisturizer, but during the winter my skin gets so dry and this just doesn't cover it. Bottom line is that I DO like it, but in my opinion it's not the best.

Like some other reviewers I have used many different brands of skin care but I have finally decided the Original Olay formula is the best. I look forward to using this at night because I love the way it feels and the fragrance, which is comforting to me. My mom used Olay so the fragrance reminds me of her, which is a good thing. And she had absolutely beautiful skin. I use the fluid version of this during the day underneath a powder foundation. No complaints - only praise!

My skin is sensetive/dry. I added this cream during the day to moisturize my skin under my spf or when I'm at home. This light weight cream is fantastic!!!!! My skin has literally been transformed by this cream. I have dry, red patches and till now nothing except hydrocortizone has diminished them. Well it's been over a week and both are barely viseabl,e! My skin tone has cleared dramatically while using t5his cream. I used to use heavier creams in the past but they all made me break out occasionally. when I shop for skin care products I have to be so careful because I know which ingedients irritate my skin. This product has no mineral oil or parabens I think. If you have sensetive skin check the ingredients on the back. I'm impressed with this cream for two reasons;1. I switched to this product because it was the only day moisturizer I had found without the SPF stuff. The SPF stuff tends to worsen my acne during summers and so I chose this product and use it underneath my foundation.. A few observations I have: the summer breakouts stopped due to the cooling effect of this cream - skin is softer and the few wrinkles I was beginning to see due to weight gain disappeared. Also I use this product in conjunction with Olay Night Firming Cream and the two seem to control the acne well while keeping the skin soft and supple.

I use this as a night cream, and it works well. I have very oily skin that is getting flakey as I age, and this does not leave me greasy or make me break out. It does leave my skin nice and soft when I wake up in the morning. However, it has a very strong scent. It's not necessarily unpleasant, but I personally don't care for it much as it reminds me of something I'd expect to smell on an old lady. I think there used to be an unscented version on here, so I would try to see if that's still available. It tends to scare my boyfriend off, so if that's not a concern, you can probably tolerate the smell.

I have been using Olay Beauty Fluid since I was a child after growing up with my mother using it. It works wonderfully at night or on dry areas...I use the Beauty Fluid during the day. I have tried everything from Cetaphil to Lancome to every natural cream at the healthfood store. I always come back to this and the Beuty Fuid along with the sensitive skin foaming face wash. I have sensitive skin and although this is fragranced it is light and does not irritate. Makes me feel fresh and feminine.

I have been searching for a moisturizer to bring some relief to my dry, itchy, flaky, and irritated skin. I typically have combination/oily and sensitive skin but having recently moved to a drier climate that has changed. Price has never been too much of a concern to me when it comes to skincare. I've tried high end skincare lines to over the counter products and up until now none of them were effective. I have been using the Olay Active Hydrating Cream for over 2 weeks now and my skin is finally back to normal! The first time I used it I immediately saw results. My skin is so soft and supple! Having sensitive skin, I thought the fragrance might irritate my skin but I have had no problems. It has a light, baby-powder scent which may be a problem for those who have sensitive noses. Personally, I find it to be pleasant. I also found a great cleanser to go along with this product, which really made a difference.

I like Olay products but this one is on the heavy side and probably better for dryer skin that my own. I have five products for my skin care. I use the foaming face wash twice a day. Regenerist under this day cream and also under the firming night cream. I also use the Regenerist eye gel. The combination keeps my skin moist, reduces the puffiness under my eyes, and helps with fine lines.

My mother used this because it was all she could afford. Well at 70 years old her skin is BEAUTIFUL! My neighbor is 75 years old and this is all she used and her skin is BEAUTIFUL. This is a time tested product. Yes, it's basic - but what's wrong with that. Simple is good. I like it because it feels great going on, soaks in and plumps your skin and leaves a dewy glow and its gentle. I have sensitive skin and Rosacea and it does not irritate. Finally...the price is right.
