I used to have very dry eyes, so I was willing at one point to spend [$] for eye cream that came in a teeny tiny bottle. Not anymore. After a lot of problems with my skin, I bought a book that helped explain how to solve skin problems. It recommended several brands and Olay was one of them, so I decided to give their product a try. After trying their product for several days I noticed a difference. It makes your skin smooth, keeps it clear, and is great to wear during the day or night. I highly recommend this product. After searching for some time for the right moisturizer, I was very surprised and pleased to find something so inexpensive. Secondly, it is a bit thick for my acne-prone skin. My pores clog from everything, and although I did not feel this contributed to any breakouts, I still feel it's a bit heavy for those who are acne-prone. I feel that a lotion, or serum, is better for that subset. On a positive note, I think it smoothed my skin, and lessened some fine lines. But I also felt it enlarged my pores due to its heavy consistency. Stay away from this if you are sensitive to fragrance, or if you are acne-prone. I began using this product around my eyes and forehead only at night but soon started spreading it lightly upon my entire face. I now use it both in the morning and at night. I used it for approximately one week before I started to breakout. I am middle-aged and had oilier skin when younger but my skin is dry now and I have not had pimples in over 20 years. I know the product caused them because when I stopped using it they gradually went away and did not return. Interestingly, I had the same problem with Olay Regenerist so I won't be using any Olay products anymore! Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? I washed with Olay alpha hydroxy cleanser and then applied this to my face. It did make my skin tingle a bit, but that told me it was working. I am 46 but still can get acne and red bumps from certain products. This cream has kept my skin very clear and I think my overall tone has improved too. I use it only at night and I am happy with the results. This cream is really the best product that I have ever used. It moisturizes and helps keep my skin clear and is reasonably priced.
