I use this all year long, and even my husband uses it in the winter or whenever his skin is dry. I overheard a woman in the store telling her friend how great it was, and that she didn't even have to use lotion on her skin anymore, since using Olay soap with shea butter. I grabbed some and haven't gone back to anything else. She was right! I never thought a bar soap would be this moisturizing.

Well I was trying to find a new soap bar to use and I was stuck between Olay or Dove. So i first tried Olay Ultra Moisture with Shea butter Body Bar and used the Olay Ultra moisture Lotion with Shea Butter. To my horror, i had broken out in little pimple like bumps all over my chest and back. I'm not saying this is a bad product, it is just not for me. Dove was a winner for me so i will stick with their Shea Butter beauty bar and Shea Butter Cream Oil Lotion.

I am Caucasian(Irish/Germanic) and 48. I'm not a big believer in bar soaps being moisturizing. Especially in Southern California. But in the summer I hate wearing lotion or baby oil. I just grabbed this soap because I thought it was better than Ivory or Dial.

I am really surprised! My skin is softer than I ever thought it could be with a bar soap. I thought my skin would get REALLY tight, but it hasn't! I thought I'd have to slather on lotion, but I don't. I LOVE being able to just hop in the shower, take ten minutes, jump out dry off and get dressed. I save so much time. I highly recommend you at least try it.

I found that some soaps with a fragrance can cause a skin allergic reaction and irritation - not all but some. Oddly enough the other Olay soaps in the line also cause me trouble but this product (yellow label with shea butter) is perfect. The bar lasts in the shower without melting too quickly and it is mild which works for me.

Olay bars don't dry your skin and are less messy than Dove bars. Also, I LOVE the smell of the shea butter bars. These are the best!

I use this product on my face. This product is even good for oily and acne prone skin! like me! After using it, a week later (literally) my skin cleared up, was not as oily, and it was OH-SO smooth. I love it love it love it!! And on my body?? omg! heaven like skin. This soap is amazing. And PLEASE don't let me use this in conjunction with the Olay ribbons body wash. I have the best skin on the block!!! LOVE THE SKIN YOUR IN!!!!

This is okay body soap for the winter because of its moisturizing properties; however, it is not so good in the summer because of the residue it leaves. Good hand soap - nonirritating.
