I had used this product for years when it contained Zinc Oxide as a sunblock. Then a few years ago they changed the formulation for avobenzene. For a while, the only basic Olay formula with Zinc Oxide was the one for sensitive skin, which has no fragrance. Just recently, I went into the drugstore and saw that they brought back the old formulation under Olay Classic (fragrance and zinc oxide). But the bottle is smaller and the price is higher.

i used to have the other olay complete UV moisturizer that comes in the round container and this one seems less creamy and more water based. it goes on smoothly and absorbs pretty fast, which is really good for me since i dont want to have to wait too long to put on my primer in the morning. i can't really describe how moisturizing it is for my skin, but the combination of this (daytime) and the olay age defying one (bedtime) seems to keep my skin pretty well moisturized.

this one also smells much better than the other round container and the container itself is much more convenient to use since i don't like dipping my finger in the case itself.

Perfect moisturizer its really light weight and I live in a dry climate so I apply this twice a day. I would highly recommend this product!

I wrote a review in February, when I first tried this product. Since then I've had no reason to try any other brand. Living in Florida, and being an 'outdoorsy' person, I absolutely have to have sunscreen on my face. Olay Complete is perfect. It absorbs quickly and allows for smooth makeup application over it. I've spent hours in blazing hot sunshine, with only this product on my face/neck, and have had no sunburn or redness. My face never feels dry, even at the end of the day, so I think the moisturing properties work well, too. The price is reasonable, one bottle lasts quite a long time, it's easy to dispense, and has little or no fragrance. Highly recommended!

1) The bottle shrank.
2) You get less product.
3) It smells very strongly like that typical sunscreen smell, and that awful smell lasts for hours. I can smell it on myself.
4) People now comment on how I smell like sunscreen! That is not a good thing and it NEVER smelled like that before.
5) I'm VERY unhappy with this new stuff.
6) It's greasy!!!! Yuck.
7) PLEASE bring back the old formula. It was perfect!! Why mess with perfection???
8) I'll be finding a new moisturizer when this bottle is gone. I was a very loyal customer for many years. I won't be returning unless they go back to the old formula.
9) As a protest, I also plan on finding a new face wash. Sorry Olay, you're losing a lot of money from this little experiment.

I've only been using this lotion for a couple of weeks, but so far I love it. I've tried many popular brands, but I think I'll keep going back to this Olay formula. It's so quick and easy to apply, and it absorbs quickly so that you can put on makeup over it. I've used other moisturizing sunscreens that 'bead up' when I apply my mineral powder foundation on top, but this one doesn't have that effect. I live in Florida and am outdoors a lot, so I can vouch for the fact that it really does prevent sunburn (although for a long day at the beach, I'd use a stronger formula). After a couple hours of being in mid-day sunlight yesterday, I was happy to see that I had no red spots on my face or neck where my skin might've been exposed to sun damage. The price is right - and the simple container is perfect... so easy to dispense - no wasteful pump or inefficient packaging.

I have used this product for many years. I bought it for its ability to combine moisturizing with SPF protection. My skin looks great for late 50s.
