This is the moisturizer I always go back to. I've tried so many kinds & nothing works as good as this. It's thick at first, but it soaks in really fast & isn't greasy. I love the smell. Most moisturizers with sunscreen SMELL like sunscreen & I don't like that at all. I like the way this smells & I like the way it feels. I look forward to putting it on every morning. I can wear i under my makeup & I actually feel like it helps set my makeup. A great staple product, especially at this price!

a couple of years ago, olay tried to "improve" the formula. after tons of complaints, they brought back the "classic" version. so, I believe that most of the negative reviews would be for those who got their hands on the newer version. I'm sure some stores are still stocking it.

as for the "classic" version-- you will know you have it if the ingredients list zinc oxide. it's one of the reasons why it was so great. zinc is one of the more gentle, non-stinging types of sunscreens and I wish more brands would use it. I have been using the classic version of this face lotion for over a decade, and I've never found anything better.

I have extremely acne prone skin, and it's very sensitive -- I have rosacea too. this product - as long as I use the classic version with zinc - is very gentle, and non-greasy.

so, if you have tried this product and found that it burns, then check the label. you may have accidentally gotten your hands on the "new" version (which, I'm not even sure if olay is even selling any more). keep an eye out for the classic version instead, it's much better.

I also had a bad reaction to this product, and I feel obligated to post a review. After using this product regularly for a couple of days, my face became red, inflamed, and VERY sensitive. I couldn't figure out what could be causing it at first, but eventually found the Olay to be the culprit. This product is not usable. I was a big fan of the old formula (which was discontinued a number of years ago). I'd love to know which ingredient is causing this reaction with our skin.

Gotta go with what doesn't give you horrid zits & cysts. My skin is delicate & dry, but prone to deep, painful zits (hello, menses), copious blackheads & tiny irritating whiteheads. Everything else I've tried aggravates my problems.

I have very sensitive skin, and some lotions won't moisturize enough, some will make me break out, and others will make my skin too oily. This is the only lotion that I've tried so far that doesn't give me any problems. And it's a good price too.

I use this in the morning after my shower. It absorbs quickly and leaves my face feeling soft.

I think P & G is adding those positive comments themselves. This product stings the heck out of your face which is totally unnecessary since the the old formula was gentle for sensitive skin. Plus great sunscreen protection. This is just another example of employees needing to justify their jobs and creating change where none is needed. This product has gone the way of my Featherlash mascara and O.B. Ultra Tampons. 3 great products gone in 1 year.

I am totally a convert! I love this lotion- perfect for everyday. It doesn't make me break out, it makes my skin feel great and I can see the difference in my skin after just a week. Love it.
