I've used this product for quite a while and love how it seems to smooth the skin. It seems to lubricate the skin just a little so that make-up is easier to apply.

If I had to choose between this and a moisturizer, this would be my choice! (I do use this and top it with moisturizer.)

I use this serum daily as part of my morning routine. It's great for lines and wrinkles and provides plenty of moisture for my 40+ year old skin. It is costly but I got a GREAT deal @ Drugstore.com

I have rosacea and sensitive skin and have tried many anti-aging products that have caused redness and breakouts - but this serum is fragrance free and non irritating to my skin. I use it every morning and every night. A little goes a long way. I have noticed an improvement in my skin texture, fine lines are decreasing and overall my skin looks 100% better. I love Olay products but this serum is by far the best product I have ever used.

Sorry for the long post here, but this is something I WISH I would have taken heed on from some of the other posters. If you have sensitive, oily, combo, or skin that needs extra exfoliation...listen up! :) I have a love/hate relationship with this product and I wish I was like all the others that gave this 5 stars. Coming up close on my 30s I have become somewhat of a product junkie...always wanting to try the next best thing. I've had relative success with products in the past...it has a great feel, my skin looked good, nothing overly dramatic but was nice and was happy until IT happened.

In all fairness, I was using the olay definity tinted moisturizer, I use the mircoderm kit once a month or so, and was using the Total Effects as my moisturizer when not using the definity. So, it could be in conjunction with any of these products...although after my recent discovery I'm chalking it up to it being at least a big part because of this product.

I started out with what I thought was a teenie tiny whitehead pimple on my nose. It was gradually growing ever so slllllightly and I thought it was coming to the surface. Once I started using this product the size seemed to rapidly grow as if it's surfacing. My skin can be oily in the tzone and I've been told I need to really exfoliate (which I do, but don't overdo). Now, I have this milky skin colored what looks like I'm walking around with a whitehead of decent proportions on my nose. But what really made me link it to this is I did have those very mute rougher areas under my eyes...nothing crazy but wasn't smooth skin...where I had put this in proximity to my eye area, I quickly saw the little dot and low and behold it has quickly grown in size and come to the surface. This would be great if it was a whitehead and it was clearing acne, but it's not and now I look like I have a whitehead centimeters from my tear duct. I've found out they are called Milia and are kerotin filled impurities that form cysts like a seed that cannot get purged by the skin. can be genetic or caused by oil-filled or heavy products..which this one has alot of silicone in it. Regardless, only derms can get rid of this (unless you want to chance scarring up your face)and is not guaranteed that it won't just keep coming back. So I can say, it does regenerate the skin much quicker than without, but I can also say that if you start seeing these pop up or are prone to getting them...I wouldn't suggest using it. I'm heading to the derm to have it extracted. Really sad about this as I love Olay products!!

I have rosacea and this is one of the few products I can use without reacting. Because I have dry skin I use another moisturizer on top of it at night. During the day it's fine with just my sunscreen.

I have used this product for many years now and have not found anything better. Love the way it goes on and makes my skin feel.

the serum is very light and completely scent-free, which is nice. however i hated the finish it left on my skin. i have combination skin and this left my face very matte and blah looking. i like to have dewy skin, not oily, just fresh looking skin. and this serum definitely did the opposite. also, i don't have acne but break out easily from using certain products and this serum made me get a few pimples with a lot of nasty little bumps everywhere, black heads and clogged pores. it must me all of the silicone in the product that doesn't agree with my skin. disappointed.

This is great stuff, I could easily get away with using it by itself but I tend to use this under my moisturizing lotion. Leaves a very silky smoothing layer on skin.

This made my skin break out horribly, i used it twice, and my skin is still a mess one week later... It seems to act like RetinA, which I tried 10 years ago and the same thing happened. If you have acne prone skin, don't use this product!!!!
