I am a 49 year old woman living in New England. I have winter dry skin, a touch of rosacia on my chin and my cheeks flash every once and a while (grr). I have been using Olay's Regenerist serum for years and there is nothing better (every so often I try new products and always come back to this). I normally order the fragranced version as the fragrance is very mild but this one was for my brother who doesn't like any fragrance. It's amazing!!! It evens out skin tone, reduces fine lines, hydrates and protects skin. I don't leave home without it. I use it in the AM under my SPF15 in winter and SPF30 in summer and SPF50 or above when sitting out in sun. My face does not burn, ever. Friends and relatives are constantly asking me what I am doing/using because my skin looks so great. Beauty counter folks always tell me that I have GREAT skin. This is the constant and I am never without it. The Olay Regenerist eye cream is superb also. I use both only in the AM under moisturizing sunscreen. Try it, you'll love it, but give it more than a week to notice a difference, and belive me, you will!

Sorry for the long post here, but this is something I WISH I would have taken heed on from some of the other posters. If you have sensitive, oily, combo, or skin that needs extra exfoliation...listen up! :) I have a love/hate relationship with this product and I wish I was like all the others that gave this 5 stars. Coming up close on my 30s I have become somewhat of a product junkie...always wanting to try the next best thing. I've had relative success with products in the past...it has a great feel, my skin looked good, nothing overly dramatic but was nice and was happy until IT happened.

In all fairness, I was using the olay definity tinted moisturizer, I use the mircoderm kit once a month or so, and was using the Total Effects as my moisturizer when not using the definity. So, it could be in conjunction with any of these products...although after my recent discovery I'm chalking it up to it being at least a big part because of this product.

I started out with what I thought was a teenie tiny whitehead pimple on my nose. It was gradually growing ever so slllllightly and I thought it was coming to the surface. Once I started using this product the size seemed to rapidly grow as if it's surfacing. My skin can be oily in the tzone and I've been told I need to really exfoliate (which I do, but don't overdo). Now, I have this milky skin colored what looks like I'm walking around with a whitehead of decent proportions on my nose. But what really made me link it to this is I did have those very mute rougher areas under my eyes...nothing crazy but wasn't smooth skin...where I had put this in proximity to my eye area, I quickly saw the little dot and low and behold it has quickly grown in size and come to the surface. This would be great if it was a whitehead and it was clearing acne, but it's not and now I look like I have a whitehead centimeters from my tear duct. I've found out they are called Milia and are kerotin filled impurities that form cysts like a seed that cannot get purged by the skin. can be genetic or caused by oil-filled or heavy products..which this one has alot of silicone in it. Regardless, only derms can get rid of this (unless you want to chance scarring up your face)and is not guaranteed that it won't just keep coming back. So I can say, it does regenerate the skin much quicker than without, but I can also say that if you start seeing these pop up or are prone to getting them...I wouldn't suggest using it. I'm heading to the derm to have it extracted. Really sad about this as I love Olay products!!

I heard that it contains multiple anti-oxidant and it is good for combination skin. So I try it for my fine lines on my forehead. It is great. My skin gets smoother and brighter.

Much better than my mother's Olay,wish they had this years ago.I have noticed that when I don't use it,my skin suffers.Also,I use Cover Girl/Olay foundation and my combination skin responds well to both.

I've been using this for years. It absorbs quickly, has no irritating fragrance or irritating sunscreens. It seems to brighten and smooth my skin, making my makeup go on more evenly and smoothly. It does seem to make fine lines less noticeable. My major complaint is that it is a thick product in a pump bottle. Approximately 10% of the lotion is not accessible in the bottom of the bottle. That's about $2 to be thrown out with each bottle. I've tried with varying success to get the remainder out of the bottle. I tried "marrying" a near-empty bottle with a new one, balancing the old one upside-down on the neck of the new one, but the lotion is too thick to drain. A toothbrush used to scrape the last teaspoonful is the best solution I've found. It seems too many products are designed this way. The cost per ounce is extremely high and I want to use it all.
