I returned this product. I was bummed. It was more like a foundation than a moisturizer. I wanted more moisture and maybe a bit of color. This is too thick with color. It would be great if advertised as a foundation.

I really like this product. It is an all in one and I like that. Can't even tell I am wearing it. Before trying this, I would use a primer after applying my moisterizer. This will be great in the hot summer months!

If you don't want a heavy foundation...just something to moisturize and even out your skin tone, this is it. Goes on easily, gives skin a nice glow and lasts throughout the day. And if you have more mature skin, it absolutely won't cake up in wrinkles as many foundations do. For years I used a rather expensive "daywear plus" sheer tint-releasing moisturizer...until they quit making it. This cream performs as well, if not better...and at less than half the price.

I was hesitant to purchase this product based on the variety of comments/reviews I read on various websites. Because each person's skin and skin needs are so different, I decided to try Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 for myself. I consider my facial skin to be combination - oily T-Zone. I am a nightly Retinol user, so I was worried about possible burning, stinging, etc. I have used this product daily for several weeks now and have had absolutely no burning, stinging, or irritation. I have also apply the product around my eyes and on eyelids - no irritations. I have used this product over moisturizer when I feel my skin is a little dehydrated and I have used this product alone. Both ways work well. Because my face tends to get oily throughout the day, I use inexpensive translucent mineral power as a finisher and shine control agent. As for coverage, it is light. With that said, I was happy with the amount of coverage for daily wear because my faced looked more natural rather than painted. Typically, I prefer something with more coverage for special occasions. It took approximately three weeks for me to notice a difference in my skin tone. Considering the cost and effectiveness of the product, I will definitely keep this one in my starting line up.

This cream is ok... That,s about it. Looks a bit Dewey for about an hour then feels dry. Have to use very little and spritz face with water etc thru the day.
I won't buy again.cover girl and maybeline BB creams are better.

There is one small problem with this cream - it leaves tiny dark specs on your face. It does make my skin very soft, but I don't like the specs left behind.

I have been dying to try CC cream and since Olay is the only company to offer it stateside thus far, I decided to try it out. Since my mid-30s, I've had severe issues with acne. I recently cut out dairy and finally the breakouts stopped. However, left behind has been pigmented skin, uneveness and a lot of redness. I'd read CC cream helped alleviate these symptoms.
The problem? The sunscreen ingedient of choice in this formula is Avobenzone which is horrible for sensitive skin. Within two days, my face was a wreck. And, since the foundation coverage was light, I had to cover OVER the CC cream with foundation and concealer causing a caked look.
If you do not have sensitive skin, this product would probably work well for you. It does leave your skin with a beautiful dewy effect after application and is very moisturizing.
I just wish Olay had used a mineral based sunscreen instead...

The original Olay Definity was wonderful, dewey, light, refreshed look all day. This new stuff with CG gunk added looks thick and is muddy looking, feel the need to add some oil. Awful product!

I use this product every morning after cleansing and applying sunscreen. You van use this product directly after cleansing since it has a sunscreen in it.
