I'm 31, am starting to develop wrinkles, and have had adult acne from the time I was 20. Nothing has helped balance my skin and prevent breakouts until this - and i have tried almost EVERYTHING from cheap to expensive to prescription. This face wash is great for bedtime especially because it does mild exfoliation, but then leaves your skin feeling very smooth and doesn't require moisturizer. Most acne products feel very drying, but not this. My skin tone and texture have improved significantly and I haven't used any other acne creams above and beyond this. In the morning, I use the Olay oil free lotion. Great, great products. I hope they stay around forever. VS Most Liked Negative Review Soft skin, but still lots of blemishes. After 3 weeks I have more pimples than when I first started using this, and they just don't seem to go away. The cleanser also has a strong perfume like smell. Steer clear if you're prone to migraines as I am! I don't understand why olay thought a face wash would need such a powerful scent, it is quite unpleasant. The only pro about this product is that it left my skin feeling soft after washing, no other salycylic wash has ever done that for me. However, I will NOT be buying this again. I wasted my money on this and the Regenerist syrum stuff, too. This product created a huge break-out of pimples around my chin and bottom lip area; looked like I had a herpes outbreak or some kind of weird skin infection. It took 2 weeks (after I discontinued using the product and went back to just plain ole Dove soap) for the zits to go away. I definitely would not recommend this product. I'm very happy with this product and will definitely repurchase. It leaves my skin feeling really clean and seems to be keeping my blemishes at bay. It went on so soft and my face felt clean and refreshed. It is not a scrubby cleanser if that is what your looking for. It is much more like a cream cleanser and feels so good going on. I wasn't sure about the cream cleanser, but let me assure you that it works well. I enjoy the micro-beads becase I feel as if I'm cleansing and exfoliating all at once, effectively yet gently. I've been using this product for two weeks, twice a day, and the results are noticeable: my skin is clearer and my pores are actually tightening up (meaning my blackheads are visibly reduced) - at the same time my skin feels softer and more smooth overall. I have been having a problem with breakouts again EVERY month since having my second child, but could not find anything that would help. I wasted tons of money on Proactiv, which just ruined all of my linens and made my skin peel. This cleanser is fantastic! My skin is now really smooth, never super oily-looking or dry, and almost completely clear. I have not found this product to help with blackheads, but yet I haven't found anything that really does. I tend to break out once a month and this has prevented that for the last year. I use it every morning and every evening and it gently removes all make-up (I don't use concealer so wouldn't know if it removes it or not).
