It's simple to apply - I just wish the current was stronger, but for a portable unit, it works fine. The pads will need to be replaced sooner than I like (it's that whole "up to" XXX uses...... count on the "up to" part). I do keep my pads clean and replace that clear plastic protective sheet on them which does help.  Pros

The pulsed electricity caused the muscles to flex uncontrollably (by design) and the pain went away very quickly. It was similar to a thorough massage. Pros

The pain I was trying to control is arthritis pain. I'm thinking that maybe this would work better on muscle pain. I don't have any muscle pain right now, so can't test this theory. Pros

Comments about Omron ElectroTherapy Pain Relief Device, 1 ea: This is great I'm just finishing my physical therapy sessions after having dislocated my knee. I still occasionally tweek my knee and have problems with swelling and soreness and electrostimulus works great so I'm very excited to get this as a home product. I've already tried it, it was simple and while not as powerful as the one's the physical therapist use, it still does the job very well.
