Know your "Zone":
The heart rate monitor can help ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your exercise program. The most popular zones range between 50% to 80% of your maximum heart rate (MHR). You can estimate MHR and "Zone" using the following formula. 220-age=MHR. The upper and lower heart rate limits are calculated by multiplying your MHR by the percentage of the selected training zone. For optimum weight loss, keep Heart Rate between 60% to 70% of MHR.
