Just had back surgery a few weeks ago and really wanted to track my walking because it's the only exercise I can do right now. I was very skeptical so I read many reviews all over the web for several brands/models. Decided on Omron and so glad I did. Easy setup had my son get the tape measure went out to the driveway and walked 3 times and took an average of my steps. Super easy to enter the initial data. Clip stays put on my elastic waist stretchy pants. I'm a little chubby with a few tummy rolls and was afraid it wouldn't lay right but it's been wonderful. Haven't tried it in my purse yet but will do that also and I think it will work well. Easy to upload data with included software and cable. So motivating to see my results! I usually push myself a little farther on my daily walks - every step counts! If you are a walker or want to be this is a fabulous reasonably priced piece of exercise equipment. Spend the few extra dollars and get this model with the software - so worth the price!! VS Most Liked Negative Review Omron pedometer The unit is easy to use and fairly lightweight. However, I counted my steps a number of times and the unit was not close to recording the actual number. I have moved it from my waist to my foot and it worked a bit better, but I was disappointed that it was not very accurate for me. I try to walk a minimum of 10,000 steps a day. Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer, PC Version, Model HJ-720 ITC, 1 ea: I like that fact that you can download your steps. The only thing that I am not that thrilled about it the comfort factor when wearing it. I don't like to put it in a pocket so I wear it on my waistband. I can feel it when I am wearing it which hasn't been the case with one that I had in the past. Pros

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer, PC Version, Model HJ-720 ITC, 1 ea: I can keep track of my steps all day and also my aerobic steps. I love how it downloads on my PC and keeps track of my progress. It helps me see what I have done and lets me know when I am improving so it challenges me to do as well if not better each day. Pros

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer, PC Version, Model HJ-720 ITC, 1 ea: I use my pedometer all day to count and achieve my goal of 10,000 steps per day to help with my weight loss . I find the arerobic steps feature helpful as I have arithic knees and use a stationary bike as a means of exercise. I have lost 51 Lbs since 4/1/09 when I was diagnose with type II diabetes. The ability to transfer the results to the computer helps me furnish information on my progress to Doctors when discussing my diabetes. Pros

Comments about Omron Pocket Pedometer, PC Version, Model HJ-720 ITC, 1 ea: I clip this to my waistband in the morning so when I get home at night I know how much walking I need to do to keep on track for my weight loss program. It's easy to set up initially, and the pedometer function resets itself every day, so there is nothing to do but clip it on. I haven't used any of the other functions. This is by far the best pedeometer I have over purchased. Displaying reviews 51-60 ![]() |
