This Vitamin works the very best for me. I am now age 70 (oof da) & have tried different vitamins over the years, but when I read on the box of the One A Day Essential (approx. 7 yrs ago now) it had everything I was looking for to provide for my personal need, so I bought it just to give it a try. Well - after it got to working in my body, I could really tell the difference between this one & the other vitamins I had been trying. For one thing I love how small the pill is & so easy to swallow, next great effect is I can tell I have more energy when I take one each day. Then about 3 months ago I was not able to find it at the stores anymore & didn't know what to do. I was so let down because this vitamin meant so much to my daily quality of life in the energy aspect, etc. But I had to do something - so I started reading all the other vitamin bottles to find one that maybe would do just as good of a job & decided on Centrum Silver. I took it for a month or two & wow - I could feel my daily energy level tanking down hill. I just didn't feel the same day in & day out - fighting tiredness during the days. Not that C.S. is not a good product, it is I know because my Mom age 93 & my step dad take that & it works for their specific needs, but for me - no way. I thought - now what am I going to do, I don't like this constant tired feeling plus the arthritis that I have in my hands & fingers & wrists were flaring up big time & so painful every day & night, more that ever before. At first, I didn't connect the arthritis with the O.A.D. Essential but I came upon an article one day that said - certain minerals help reduce the pain of arthritis - BINGO!!! - THEN I connected the dots, that also to my not taking the O.A.D.Essential vitamins anymore seemed to be contributing to my awful arthritis pain. So I put my thinking cap on, pulled up my big girl panties & set out on a mission to find my favorite, best vitamins. I went online then & low & behold - there they were - for sale at drugstore.com. OMG - Thank You God - Praise The Lord - Hallelulah!!!! I ordered a whole bunch of them, [...] I started taking them right away again & it's been about 3 weeks or so since then & I could feel the life come back into me with energy to spare(once it kicked in, in a few days) I feel great again & believe it or not, the bad pain in my wrists, hands & fingers has honestly gotten better. It still hurts somewhat but with so much less pain and I can live with that. This is the best Vitamin for someone with my type of problems that needs extra minerals in thier system. I did my homework way back a long time ago to read & find out what my specific personal health needs are & that is how I was able to come to the conclusion of why this particular vitamin does the trick for me. One of the books that helped me to zone in on what my need was is The Vitamin Bible, & there is many more informative books on this & online too. Everyone's personal situation is different so it's good to study & get a fit for just you. I am very grateful to have found my best Vitamin back & I hope & pray that drugstore.com never quits selling it. Thank you & bless you all.
