The first time I took this Vitamin right before my dinner, I felt good and didn't feel nausea or sick. The next morning, I tried after breakfast (light breakfast), I felt nausea within 1 hour. Now, I tried to take my Folic Acid in the morning, in the night 5 minutes before dinner, I will take this Prenatal Vitamin with Fish Oil. I feel good with it. This Prenatal Vitamin was recommended by Pharmacist. She said latest Prenatal Vitamin usually will have fish oil b/c it' better combination for pregnancy women. Since my insurance doesn't cover any prescribed Prenatal Vitamins, I will continue to buy it until my baby is born. For all women out there and soon to be mom, I will recommend you bring Prenatal Vitamin to your Ob/Gyn and ask them to see if it's enough for you.

I tried taking these towards the end of my first trimester after having no problems taking a standard prenatal with no liquigel DHA supplement. I found the DHA pill large has a definite taste to it. Within 2 days of changing to these, my previously subsiding morning sickness was back with a vengeance and it usually happened within 30 mins of taking these vitamins. After day 6, when the vomiting got really violent, I gave up, went back to my former prenatals and was fine. I do want the benefits of the DHA, though, so I am now (midway in trimester 2) taking another shot at using these. Still tough to swallow strictly due to size, not coating, and I'd say if you have an active gag reflex or trouble with pills, this will be a challenge. If it's still tough, I may start taking at night, as stated. Seems like taking with food doesn't help much. If I start vomiting again, I'm no longer using these, period.

Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea:

No matter when I took it, it gave me an upset stomach to the point of vomiting and who needs more morning sickness? It also made me constipated. The DHA part is perfectly fine, it's the multivitamin that caused problems.

Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea:

I tried out five different prescription prenatal vitamins and three other OTC varieties. This was the only one that didn't result in any side effects for me. I was a regular one-a-day women's vitamin user prior to becoming pregnant. I'm just as happy with the one-a-day prenatal vitamins as I was with the regular women's vitamins. I highly recommend this product.

Great product no issue with nausia or vomiting from the product. The only littlle quirk was that if I burp I taste the oil (fish burps). If your gonna take fish oil though....it's gonna taste like fish. I take both pills with breakfast and have no complaints. :)

Pretty great idea! Love that I get them together. I have to wait till the kiddo is born to tell you if he or she is smarter/healthier. But, the fish oil has no taste which is great!

Great product, I loved that the pill came in the two pack with the other pills. Unfortunately I had to stop taking it because the iodine in it was interfering with my thyroid, but otherwise I totally would have kept taking it.

Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea:

I really like these vitamins. They have all the benefits of regular vitamins plus the prenatal. I can take them any time day or night, full or empty stomach and I never get nauseous. I also like the fact that there are only two to take not the 7 or 8 different pills I've seen for sale. I don't plan on trying to get pregnant for at least another 6 months so I have yet to know whether or not there will increase my chances but I'm sticking with these.

when i was pregnant with my first child 7 yrs ago i couldnt take a vitamin for nothing i tryed every single one out there and they all made me so sick. so even though it wasnt a smart decision i didnt take any at all and she turned out fine she was small at 5 7 but she was very healthy. and i have had 2 miscarriages since then my first i didnt know i was pregnant and the second one i was taking just otc folic acid and it didnt make me sick but i lost it, so again im pregnant i went to a pharmacy and i was looking at all the prenatals and i saw these and decided to get them right away i took them and i have been taking them 14 days and so far no morning sickness of course i eat something first, great product and when i go to the doctor im going to see if our pharmacy has these for the otc program so i dont have to always order them, but even if they dont im going to continue to use them they are the only thing that doesnt make me sick.
