The next morning, I tried after breakfast (light breakfast), I felt nausea within 1 hour. Now, I tried to take my Folic Acid in the morning, in the night 5 minutes before dinner, I will take this Prenatal Vitamin with Fish Oil. I feel good with it. This Prenatal Vitamin was recommended by Pharmacist. She said latest Prenatal Vitamin usually will have fish oil b/c it' better combination for pregnancy women. Since my insurance doesn't cover any prescribed Prenatal Vitamins, I will continue to buy it until my baby is born. For all women out there and soon to be mom, I will recommend you bring Prenatal Vitamin to your Ob/Gyn and ask them to see if it's enough for you. I found the DHA pill large has a definite taste to it. Within 2 days of changing to these, my previously subsiding morning sickness was back with a vengeance and it usually happened within 30 mins of taking these vitamins. After day 6, when the vomiting got really violent, I gave up, went back to my former prenatals and was fine. I do want the benefits of the DHA, though, so I am now (midway in trimester 2) taking another shot at using these. Still tough to swallow strictly due to size, not coating, and I'd say if you have an active gag reflex or trouble with pills, this will be a challenge. If it's still tough, I may start taking at night, as stated. Seems like taking with food doesn't help much. If I start vomiting again, I'm no longer using these, period. Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea: I have found the multivitamin easy to take and haven't had any problems with feeling ill as a result, but I had to stop taking the DHA pill because of nasty fishy burps that I would have about an hour after taking these with my dinner. I had my doctor prescribe another pill with DHA that has an orange flavor and isn't so bad, but I'm considering taking a generic prenatal multi (what I took with my last pregnancy) and getting a separate DHA supplement like another reviewer suggested. Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea: I ran out of my normal prenatal vitamin, GNC Prenatal Formula with Iron, so I had my husband buy these at the drugstore until I could get more. I like that the pills aren't difficult to swallow, and there is only one multivitamin and one DHA. I didn't need the combo pack since I have Nordic Naturals DHA pills that I love! But, I decided to take both of the "One A Day" pills since they were paid for. The DHA pill gives me "fish burps" and heartburn like no other for at least an hour after taking, even if taken at night, after a meal. My other DHA comes in a lemon flavor or plain and neither makes me sick or have the burps. If I take the vitamin without the DHA I have no problems regardless of the time of day I take it or if I take it with food. So as wasteful as I feel doing it, I only take the vitamin and went back to taking my regular DHA. If they made this vitamin without the DHA sidekick, I'd buy it. Don't waste your money on this combo pack; buy a good prenatal and a good DHA separate. Pros

Cons Best Uses Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea: I took these for three months pre-conception and I'm in my eighth month now. So far, so good. I did have 3-4 months of intense nausea at the beginning of the pregnancy, and I tried other vitamins my doctor gave me for a month; it made no difference though, so I can't blame the sickness on the vitamins. (Probably just all those hormones!) Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea: I started using these while we were TTC. I found that if I took them without eating, I would throw up so starting taking them after I'd eaten breakfast. That worked fine until I was about 6 weeks pregnant and they made me throw up about an hour or two after breakfast. I stopped taking them and did not throw up again. I thought it was just morning sickness, but it was the vitamins! The components of these are great. I just wish I could stomach them! Pros

Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea: I have a hard time with most pills so these may not be difficult for other ladies. I enjoy the pink and thankfully you can't taste the fish oil caps. This is a simple way to either get ready to concieve or to keep the bun in the oven safe and healthy. Congratulations if you are all ready expecting. Pros

Comments about One A Day Prenatal Multivitamin with DHA, 30 ea: It took me about two weeks to realize these vitamins were making me lose so much weight! I tried taking them in the morning, or else at night - and I always wanted to gag - or vomited completely! My appetite was obsolete and I could hardly keep down the water I took the pills with. I switched up to gummies and another (inferior brand) prenatal and ALL of my sickness went away! I'm about to embark on my second trimester, when hopefully I will be able to stomach these. Don't make my mistake and buy two boxes without trying them out first! Pros
