Yes, this will upset your stomach if you cut it into tiny parts or if you don't use it properly. You're supposed to take it with food, and I've heard that vitamins are most effective if you take them with your biggest meal of the day. For me, that's dinner. If you are throwing up from it, try taking it with a bigger meal. Or maybe try reading the bottle. Are you allergic to anything in it? Don't assume it won't cause a reaction just because it's a vitamin. The person that got the hives probably had good reason to discontinue use.

I'm also going to say that the FDA did not evaluate whether this product actually does help skin or not, BUT the bottle says it, so they did not mislead potential customers. The reason they say it should help skin is because it contains biotin, which helps skin, hair, AND nails. So I believe they understated it a bit ;)

This vitamin is pink and has a flavored coating (probably to make it easier to swallow). I don't have a problem with the size at all, and it used to be difficult for me to swallow anything bigger than a chocolate chip, so the fact that this isn't a problem for me is amazing.

This comes in a quantity of 80, which is probably a moderate amount (I wouldn't know, this is the first vitamin I have taken consistently since I was a little kid taking chewable vitamins). A year's supply costs about fifty dollars. Well worth it, in my opinion.

My skin is slowly clearing up and I've been using it consistently for 2 weeks now. Other than that, I haven't seen any significant changes, but just the healthier skin makes it all well worth it.

I suggest trying it for a month or so, read the label, and follow the directions. Good luck!

Okay, first off, I ALWAYS have taken these with food, so I don't need finger-waggers getting in my face about that. I tried taking One-A-Day WOMEN'S, and that caused major nausea, even after taking it for several days. So I stopped for the longest time, and found this teen version. Decided to try since I'm not even 20 yet, and thought the teen version would be less potent. Tried the first day, felt some slight nausea. Second day, I felt even worse, even close to vomiting. I think my best bet is to take their chewable vitamins.

Comments about One A Day Teen Advantage for Her, 80 ea:

I read the previous reviews, that stated that this vitamin gave several teens an upset stomach, but we haven't experienced that at all. My teen girls take this with dinner every evening, and have never complained of an upset stomache. My 13 year old has no problem swallowing the viatamins either, but my 15 year old does. However, my 15 year old has always had issues about swallowing pills, so I expected that. I'm not sure how effective they have been in clearing up the skin because we haven't been using them that long, but all in all I think this is a great vitamin for teens.

Comments about One A Day Teen Advantage for Her, 80 ea:

I bought this for my 17 year old after her schedule got so busy that dinner consisted of a pretzle from the shop in the mall that she works at. I felt she needed a supplement.

First - they are expensive - unless you know your teen is actually going to take them everyday. Mine has only taken a couple, the first she took in the morning without breakfast and says she felt sick to her stomach. The other one she took in the middle of the day on a weekend when she was actually eating lunch. Didn't say anything about feeling ill. Hasn't taken any more since then.

Honestly - she wanted them because they say "Teen" on them so that makes them not "old people" vitamins. When I compared the label to my vitamins there are very few differences.

I don't think, even if she takes them that I will spend the money for the word "Teen" again.

Comments about One A Day Teen Advantage for Her, 80 ea:

I'm fifteen and my health conscious, doctor dad got these multivitamins for me because he liked that it contained iron (something gummy vitamins unfortunately lack). I was surprised that so many people experienced vomiting, because nothing of the sort ever happened to me. The flavored coating is nice (you don't have to worry about nasty medicine taste in your mouth), but the only problem was the size. Maybe it's just me, but I had some trouble swallowing these.

I am eleven years old and I took gummy bear vitamins everyday. Then I started to get acne and saw the comercial. I checked it out online and was worried about the whole stomach thing but got them anyway. The first time I took them, I felt weird, kind of dizzy. But it turns out it was mental because the next time I took it I was fine. Once I took one without food and my stomach realy hurt, but with breakfast you should be fine. It realy did nothing for my acne but my nails used to be weak and bendy but this pill hardened them right up. Great vitamin!

Comments about One A Day Teen Advantage for Her, 80 ea:

After reading the reviews about the nausea and vomiting, I was very hesitant to try the pills. Well, I decided to try it anyway. I personally take it at night after I've had a meal. I did experience slight nausea the first couple times, but it quickly went away after a minute or so. I just sat and relaxed until the feeling went away. I wasn't sure if it was the pills (as all the other reviewers claimed) or if it was just in my head because I read the reviews before purchasing and expected nausea to come. It's been a couple days now and I no longer feel nauseated. On top of that, I didn't even eat before I took the pill (I had chili fries at 7 and took the pill around 12). So, I concluded that it's just all in my head. I believe that the nausea is not so bad that I have to vomit; others may experience differently -- taking it with food is recommended. Regarding the ease of swallowing the pill, I think it goes down pretty smooth with 1-2 gulps of water. I PERSONALLY don't like the taste or smell, but others say it smells pleasant and it tastes good. I only gave it 4 stars because I'm still not sure if they work. It's only been a couple days and I haven't really noticed a difference/improvement

The nausea and stomach thing- totally true so take these with FOOD and A LOT OF WATER. My stomach is usually really weak but with food and water these don't cause a problem at all. And they're really not hard to swallow.... I don't know why they're such a problem for people. I'm usually terrible with swallowing pills but these are fine.
