It took a lot of rubbing to get distributed through my hair. Can't pack, it has to dry before being wrapped up.

Comments about One Natural Solid Conditioner, Hair Boost, 2.5 oz:

It takes a couple of uses to figure out the right anount to use but the conditioner doesn't leave the sticky residue that liquid conditioners do. I have very long hair and it looks a lot better with this conditioner than with the liquid ones. I have also tried other solid conditioners and this one is very good and is on the par with the Lush solid conditioner but is considerably less expensive.

This stuff really does smell like banana Laffy Taffy - very strong. More importantly, though, it doesn't come with a tin or container of any kind. Seriously, people? I'm planning to travel with this so now I have to go out and find something to keep this in. NOT impressed.

Because it is solid, this is obviously great for travelling. It lathers well and lasts longer than a full-size bottle of conditioner. I have sensitive skin and psoriasis, but it did not irritate of inflame my scalp. Fantastic product!

I was surprised when I got this and saw it was larger then before but it didn't come with a new tin to fit in so I had to force it in the my old tin since I had nothing else to use as a holder. If your going to make something bigger then include a larger container as well. Other then that it is no different then when I got it in the first place I still love the fact it takes up less room then normal conditioner and has less packaging but still am disappointed that I am going to have to find a new holder for it

Comments about One Natural Solid Conditioner, Hair Boost, 2.5 oz:

When I first opened the package, the scent had me checking the box for stow-away banana-flavored Laffy Taffy. But since using it, the smell is more like ripe bananas and not so terrible, or perhaps I've just grown accustomed to it.
Mine didn't come with a tin, which would not have worked well with it anyway since it doesn't keep the shape. I keep it in a regular plastic soap case instead which keeps it soggy enough so that it works. It needs to have been wet to be able to get some "conditioner" each time. I don't feel like it conditions my hair enough, but it is still slightly better than not using any at all. I know it won't be effective once we hit static-sweater weather so I will be looking for something else once this one's gone.

Comments about One Natural Solid Conditioner, Hair Boost, 2.5 oz:

First, the use of this is really simple--rub onto your scalp, like you would rub a bar of soap onto your skin. You can tell that you're using it only when you look at the part that you've rubbed and see that there's an edge worn away. I'm a no-pooer; I've used up two One Conditioner Bars before this, but this one is different than previous experience. Previously, the bar was smaller and came with a tin in which to store the bar and keep it dry. When this arrived, I was mildly surprised that they changed the size: 25% larger to fit the same packaging without the tin. Naturally, when I got this bar, I stored it in the tin that I got from previous bars. What a mistake--previously, the bars were more solid than a normal bar of soap--no slime, no goo, just a bar of product that was neat and did its job well. When One Bath & Body issued a new size, they must have changed the chemical composition of their bar as well; it now oozes into my hands as I use it and flakes off in chunks. It's now the texture of Putty of Silly or Doh of Play, only chunkier and grittier. At first, I thought it was because I wasn't keeping it in a dry enough place, so when I wasn't using it, I let it sit on a paper towel and on my kitchen counter, which is in the center of my apartment. My kitchen gets the best air flow and is the driest counter space available. After two straight days, I used it again--still gooey and squishy. So then I tried freezing it, on the slim chance that it's the humidity and the heat that's making it like this. A little better, but only the core is solid, and that still means I get much more conditioner in my hair than I want to use.The packaging claims that it's entirely recyclable, but the new product has the bar encased in cardboard, then plastic, then wax paper. The plastic feels unnecessary; it wasn't there in previous versions--why the downgrade? I'm just really disappointed. The only thing left to try is taking the bar out of the tin--if this stops the ooze and makes it solid again, then fine-- but why sell tins if you don't want your customers to use them with your products in the future? If you sell tins, doesn't that encourage long-term customers? Apparantly not. I'm really close to buying another conditioner bar elsewhere. This is the best value on the web for a conditioner bar, and the product works well at getting rid of my dandruff in its solid state, but if it changes so drastically from one purchase to the next... well, my brand loyalties aren't THAT strong. And what do I do when I get down to a sliver of a product this time? That sliver will get lost in my hair. Great.
