Clever marketing indeed! The color is beautiful, especially when worn with sexy hot mama red sandals. What's so remarkable, beyond the color, is this stuff doesn't chip! I only just removed it after almost four weeks because my toenails needed a trim and I was ready to change the color. There was a tiny little barely noticeable chip about two weeks through, but that's all! Usually my pedicures start chipping within a few days, and there was nothing special about the way I applied this that would make any difference other than the polish is just that good. It's more than I usually spend on a nail polish but I wanted to splurge because of all the great reviews, and I'm a sucker for sparkle. It's much more dramatic than plain red, which is already dramatic. I will definitely look for this brand in the future and whip out this color when I want to turn on the sex appeal. Thanks! VS Most Liked Negative Review Just ok I got this because of the rave reviews. I like OPI, but none of the shades last long on my nails (except my toes but every polish lasts longer on toes than hands-it's all about the hand washing that contributes to chipping polish). They all chip easily which is why I'm surprised that the reviews are soooo positive. Anyway, this shade is just ok. I'm not sure why women go wild about it. It definitely works on all skin tones. I'm super pale and this looks fine against my skin. It's fine, just didn't "wow" me like I expected it to. Comments about OPI Classic Shades Nail Lacquer, I'm Not Really a Waitress, .5 fl oz: I use a base coat and sometimes a top coat. A manicure lasts a week and a pedicure lasts at least 2 weeks. I use my hands alot...mechanical work, gardening without gloves. This polish can handle it. I turn to OPI every time. I will gladly put up with the smell! It's worth the extra money and Drugstore has the best price! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review ![]()
