I was a teensy bit worried about the color because I'm so pale, but this deep red color is perfect. It's darker than a bright/apple red, but not so dark that it's overpowering on paler complexions. Definitely one of my favorites now.
As typical with OPI, it dried fast, a must for me because I'm impatient waiting for polish to dry.

I love all OPI polish, the line is excellent and has a huge range of choices. This color is much more red than wine, which is fine with me. It is a classic and classy color.

OPI Malaga Wine is the best blood-red polish I have found. I love it. Anyone who is hesitating about buying, don't be afraid. It is equal in quality to and less brown in tone than Chanel Vamp laquer. OPI polishes are really great in general but this is worth the raves.

I have tried the wide array of colors my salon carries and nothing compares. I finally tracked the color down on Drugstore.com and use it exclusively. It does not change color over the week or two it stays on which has been the case with other reds that become more brown with age. Looks great with black or navy or gray - a red that does not shock - totally classy
