Like most of us, I had read about the benefits of topical vitamin c use. However, most products I came across were either very expensive or contained ingredients I was concerned about applying to my sensitive skin. When I saw this product and its low price on drugstore.com, I decided to give it a whirl. I am so glad I did. For a couple of years, I had a ugly spider nevi under one of my eyes. I had asked my doctor about it who told me that it was a result of aging (hello! I was only 30 at the time) and there was nothing I could do about. I used this product for about 2 weeks following my bedtime skin routine and PRESTO! The spider nevi was gone. It has also faded some of my dark spots and acne scars. This stuff if FABULOUS. My skin is sensitive and there is some very mild stinging at first when I apply it but nothing lasting or alarming. I tell myself it is just doing its stuff.

This product did irritate my skin after the first application. I quit using for a few days then tried again. I have had no further irritation. The product makes my skin very smooth and I can see a difference in my skins appearance.

I tried this both as a nightime moisturizer/repair serum. Did not see any beneficial results. Try something else.

I would recommend using this on your skin 30 minutes after cleansing.

This is a serum that has a little more silicone in it, and it does sting slightly upon application. The best way to use it is to wait 30 minutes before applying after you wash your face and don't use it after exfoliation.. 10% is a pretty concentrated C serum, so its to be expected. Great product.

The anhydrous vitamin C really does a good job of keeping skin texture smooth. I use it under moisturizer and then put suncreen on top. I also find that it really works well at keeping skin clear and stops any pimples from progressing. I have slight rosacea around the nose and cheeks and this seems to really tame the redness and inflammation. It is 10%, however, so very strong so use sparingly. I just wish that it was easier to get the last 10% out of the bottle.

I had been spending a ton of money on various "wrinkle fillers," "ceramic skin smoothers" and other primers that go under make-up foundation - until I discovered that the ingredients in this serum (probably the isododecane and Ethylene Mixed Copolymer) provide me with an identical result - smooth skin, wrinkle filling, that I can smooth my foundation over and have lovely smooth skin. I know it's not quite what it's advertized for, but remember the excitement when everyone discovered that Avon's Skin-so-Soft was a bug repellent? I take my little joys were I can find them!

My dermatologist did not recommend this particular brand of C serum skin care but vitamin C serums do help to promote new skin cells growth to replace the old damaged ones. Make sure to wear sunscreen over this product or any other containing vitamin C.

This stuff is horrible for me. I have oily, uber-tough skin. It can take hard core glycolic peels and beg for more. Until it met this. I've been using a high quality 20% Vitamin C with E product for about a year with excellent results, but its pricey so I wanted to try some economical options. This burned my face so bad after just one use that it took 3 weeks to recover. My skin was so red, irritated and painful. I don't know if its because the Vitamin isn't buffered or what, but stay as far away from this stuff if possible. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I have used this product for several years and wouldn't be without it. It is the only thing I've found that controls my adult acne. Recently ran out of it and as I haven't had a break out in ages, thought maybe I could do without it. WRONG! My face is so broken out, can't wait for my shipment to arrive. This stuff is great!
