The consistency and texture are great. I look for after shaves that dry and absorb quickly on the face after applying so they don't get over all my shirts when i'm dressing post-shower. This one is does exactly that and moisturizes pretty well too. Even after the roughest of shaves, your face will feel great after you put this on. For me to spend [$] on a product like this is a rare, even unprecedented event. It does have a different smell to it, but it is by no means a bad smell - my wife likes it.
