I am very happy with this mascara--I have searched far and wide for one that is 1) not tested on animals, 2) does not contain harsh chemicals, 3) is easy to remove, 4) makes my sparse, blonde lashes look fuller. There is minimal clumping, which I can live with. I like the brush too. My only two complaints, in order of importance, are that it smudges against my eyelid very easily (unless I apply super carefully) and it doesn't come in brown. I have red hair, blonde lashes, and pale skin, so brown would suit me better. Otherwise, I am very, very happy with this. It can be applied lightly for a normal day look or more heavily for a dramatic night look. A great, all purpose mascara.

I love that Physician's Formula came out with a line of makeup that's great for the environment, animals, and people! I've been gradually phasing out my use of another brand that I found out tests on animals. This product comes in an attractive, eco-friendly tube, and applies fairly easily, with only occasional clumps. I was dissappointed from the first use, however, when I found that it had smudged onto my under-eye region by the end of the day. Now, I am careful to use this only in low humidity, when I know I'll be home before too late! Still a good value, and a great alternative to harsher formulas.

I was looking for a less toxic mascara, and according to the EWG database, this one is pretty safe. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I have no complaints at all. It doesn't irritate my eyes like some other eye makeup products. It doesn't clump or smudge, so no spider lashes or raccoon eyes. The brush separates the lashes nicely. I will purchase again.

First try at organic cosmetics. I am mostly impressed so far, but I knew that it wouldn't be as wonderful as your top of the line *with added chemicals* mascara. I think I'll stick with this kind, as my primary concern for mascara is that it's not clumpy,and this one is not clumpy at all.

I have been searching for a more natural mascara for a long time and I have tried a lot of different type of natural masacara such as 100% Pure, Tarte etc. and I am happy to find this. It is great for every day use. And even for going out I just apply several coat. It is also easy to clean off for me. I use the Organic Eye makeup remover. I have long but super skinny lashes and this mascara is great for me. They do smudge a little but I have oily skin and any mascara I have used always smudge anyway so it doesn't bother me. And this works a lot better than their Jumbo version. This is my 3rd time reordering this mascara so I def. highly recommend this

Was glad to find a natural product that had a resonable price but disappointed in that it did not seem to be that much different than other commerical mascara. I have sensitive eyes and the flaking and clumping is a problem. I wonder if the life of the product makes a difference. I usually have to have a new mascara every two or three months because they become more irritating to my eyes. This one will not last that long.

Really great mascara. I've been shopping for a natural product that actually works to define, add volume, separate lashes, and this is it! Thx go to Physicians Formula for making it, and Drugstore for carrying it.

This mascara is awful. I read the reviews & decided to try it because I really wanted something more eco-friendly, but this stuff is unbearable. It flaked into tiny bits of crud which got into my eyes & irritated them. I'm sure it didn't help that I wear contacts. I threw it away & will not buy again.

My eyes are very sensitive to most eye products. Everything makes my eyes sting. My eyes feel great after using this mascara. It feels weightless and my eyes don't sting! It is such a relief to finally find a mascara I can use with out the fear of what the chemicals are doing to my eyes. My only complaint is that it does smear more easily than regular mascara but I can do a light workout and not have much smearing. Keep the sweat out of your eyes and you'll be fine. Its a small price to pay imho for a product that makes my lashes look great without exposing my eyes to nasty chemicals!

I'm giving this five stars even though I think of five stars as perfection, and what, technically, is perfect? Why? Because it has the main qualities I've wished for in a mascara and have never come across. It goes on quickly and easily, not gloppily. It darkens and emphasizes my lashes, but they still look like eyelashes, not tree twigs. I've always disliked that jarring, heavy look that ironically makes your eyes LESS noticeable because the eye is drawn to the thick makeup instead. This DOES come off very easily, which could be a problem if you have oily skin...mine is dry so I haven't had any problems with daytime smudging. When it's time to take it off at night, I TRULY appreciate that quality. My nightly routine has become much less of a drag! I love that it has better ingredients than most, and the bottle is seriously cute!
In summary: it looks more natural, is easy to apply, easy to remove with just a wet washrag, is half the price of the mascara I was using (YAY), and it comes in an adorable bottle. I only hope that Organic Wear will keep making this mascara...and a brown shade would be nice for my red-headed daughter.
Sweep mascara brush from lash base to tips. Apply multiple coats for added volume. Can easily be washed off with soap and water or removed with Physicians Formula Eye Makeup Remover Pads or Lotions.
