This goes on very smoothly and feels soft - not one of those pencils you have to drag across your eyelid trying to get a line. But it's not too gloppy or heavy either. It sometimes smudges a little going on because it's so soft, but I've found it cleans up easily too - if I don't get the line I want I can easily fix it with my finger. And I've been able to put eyeshadow on on top of it without it smudging or smearing. I'm very pleased! The color is almost black - it has just the smallest hint of dark green.

I was hoping this product would work because regular black eyeliner looks too harsh on me, and I have been looking for more natural products. The color is nice when it first goes on, but it fades and smudges VERY VERY quickly. It might work if you have extremly dry eyelids that never get oily, but I doubt it.

I have sensitive eyes, and this is the first eyeliner I've tried that doesn't irritate them. I can actually wear this with my contacts! Also, this liner goes on very smoothly so it looks great. By the end of the day it smudges slightly but it's not a disaster. It's an easy fix if you just wipe below your eye with your finger.

The only color that glides on easily is the pure black one. Black woods and the grey looking eye liner are completely different and take a lot more effort to put on your eyes. Sadly, they don't sell the pure black one anymore.

I love the Organic Wear line and was hoping that the eyeliner would work. The liner is very soft and goes on very smoothly however it doesn't work for my oily skin because it smudges within 15 minutes after application and continue to smudge throughout the day and fades away. I have tried a lot of different natural liner and now I'm using the Jane Iredale one instead. It's much better as far as smudging and fading problem go. I guess this will work well for people with normal or dry skin.

Wow! This eyeliner is incredible. I've been searching for eye makeup that doesn't have a lot of chemicals - more on the natural side with limited irritants. Well, I found my new eyeliner! It goes on smoothly with no tugging at the eyelid. I don't know how Black Olive compares against the other blacks in this line, but I definitely like the color. It stays on through the day, but I think it does wear a little - it didn't look like I just applied it at the end of the day, but I don't really have that expectation as I like to be able to remove my eye makeup without a lot of effort. I'll certainly buy it again.

Love this product!! It has a super soft lead so it goes on very smooth, great for all day wear. I'll never use any other brand of eyeliner, I'm hooked!!
Had trouble sharpening it the first time. The lead is so soft it kept breaking. Once I got the hang of it tho it's easy.
