My skin breaks out occasionally (maybe once or twice every 3 months) and is pretty much always a little rough (or porous on and around my nose, I should say). My skin didn't work well with this loose powder as a foundation. It made my pores more visible and my skin seem a little aged. This powder is good for covering up blemishes though...especially rough textured ones. I'ts awesome that it's organic and it goes a long way. Might work for you, it's a good price and drugstore.com was the only place I could find it.I prefer light coverage anyways...I love the Organic Wear Pressed Powder. I bought this to replace my favorite loose powder, which is no longer being made. It's more pigmented than a loose powder, but not overly. I use just a touch of it to "set" my sunscreen/moisturizer after I've applied concealer. It keeps things where they're supposed to be and cuts the shine.

use the product when going out. usually stay home so maybe use 1-2 x week. helps smooth out complexion.

This product covers as well, lasts as long, and contains the same quality of ingredients as its high-priced comeptitors, which is why I love it so much. (And the more expensive competitors don't use organic ingredients.) I've been really happy with the product.

It is oddly advertised as a "loose powder" - it is not. It is a mineral powder foundation and goes on as such. It should not be used, and would not be good for, setting liquid foundation. If you can somehow imagine a creamy powder, that is the best way I can think of to describe it.

I was a little skeptical about using this product, but I'm glad I did. I use this as a foundation and it works really well for me. Covers redness and blotchiness, and makes my skin look flawless. I don't use the brush it comes with, but I never assumed you were supposed to unless you were traveling with it. Instead, I use the Eco Tools Powder Brush and the result is fantastic. Great product and inspiring line.

Does NOT set liquid foundation. Never actually dries and practically becomes a liquid when used on its own. Wipes off with the slightest touch. Distinctively orange hue. Tried applying with the included brush but it left trails across my face. I have never found a replacement for Burt's Bees Vanishing Facial Powder!!
