This exfoliator works pretty well. I'd describe it as a medium consistency -- it's not super fine, but it's not coarse either. I use it a couple times a week. I like that it doesn't contain parabens or artificial scents, etc. However, it does have a strong scent -- like hippies! This should, however, come as no surprise if you read the ingredients list; it does contain a ton of essential oils like patchouli. It says on the bottle that it's not recommended for acne prone skin. I wouldn't say that I'm overly acne prone, but I do get adult acne; but I haven't had any problem with this product causing breakouts. The product also comes at a decent price and in a fairly large container. I would consider trying other exfoliators, but I would buy this one again, especially if the price was right.
