I have curly frizzy graying hair; needed a change of shampoo and cream rinse as hair not as soft as usual. This product cleans well and softens/shines for first day hair when used with cream rinse. Second day hair is very manageable and not weighted.

This doesn't appear to over-hydrate or to dry my hair out -- I use it daily. It lathers well. I like the smell & my boyfriend likes it, it is not too feminine. I will buy this again. It is important to me it is not tested on animals.

The Organix line of shampoos is simply the best I've ever used, at any price. I color my hair to cover the grays, so it's important to me to have a shampoo that is sulfate-free and gentle. I can definitely see and feel the difference in how long my color lasts and how my hair is soft and shiny, even though I color regularly.
I was extremely disappointed when I could no longer find my favorite Organix Mandarin & Olive Oil shampoo, but this Awapuhi & Ginger version is quickly becoming my new fave. I've also tried the Coconut version, which I do like, but this one is much better for the overall health and appearance of color-treated hair, in my opinion.

I have really "difficult" hair and tends to frizz easily. This shampoo and the conditioner have worked wonders w/o me having to add other products to help it look good. Best product I have used so far out of the hundreds I've tried.

I use this along with the same conditioner and it has made the biggest difference in my hair. I used to use the moroccanoil products from this company, but they weren't moisturizing enough for me anymore. This line is perfect for repairing dry, damaged hair. I bleached mine to death for years and am still paying the price for it. Slowly the health of my hair is coming back with these items.
It doesn't weigh down my fine, straight hair and smells amazing. Rinses clean, lathers great even without sulfates, and makes my hair super shiny and silky.

I've tried several sulfate-free shampoos lately after discontinuing use of my prior "cleansing conditioner." So far, the Organix Awapuhi shampoo/conditioner combo is my favorite!

The shampoo cleanses well, without overstripping. I do have to use conditioner afterwards, but that's pretty normal for me so I don't deduct for it. It lathers up nicely for a sulfate-free product, and smells amazing but not overwhelming. The texture is very thick and gel-like, which takes a smidgen of getting used to, but it's not a deal-breaker by any means.

Just for reference... I have a lot of hair: medium-textured, curly to wavy, not porous or damaged.

I had to stop using my previous hair cleanser (the famous cleansing conditioner), because of my allergies. I chose to try Organix products because they are sulfate-free and a great value compared to what I was using. I've tried several formulas so far, and the Awapuhi Ginger is my favorite so far. My hair is shiny and bouncy, and my curls are manageable and defined. The scent is amazing. The only odd thing is that Organix shampoos are thick in consistency, almost gel-like. It's not a deal breaker by any means, for a sulfate-free shampoo that still manages to lather nicely and clean well.
