I bought this shampoo after doing a lot of reading about Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) possibly causing thinning hair. This was the least-expensive SLS-free shampoo out there so I thought I'd give it a try first. After just one shampoo - WOW! In all of my 43 years I have never used a shampoo that made such a dramatic difference in my hair. This shampoo brought my hair back to life! I have my curls back and more volume than I've had in years. It's too soon to tell if this will help with the hair loss, but I have very high hopes based on the results so far. I want to love it as much as I did in the beginning, but I'm starting to notice how dry my hair is becoming. As soon as I rinse this product out, my hair feels brittle and dry (yes, I'm in the shower and yes, I know it's wet). The corresponding Organix Hydrating Tea Tree Mint Conditioner, however, helps out tremendously. I've also noticed that my hair has become increasingly more greasy throughout the day. In the past, I could go three days before washing my hair, and now, I HAVE to wash it every day or be a grease ball the next. However, my hair got really dried out and unmanageable, and his hair started to dry out too. We are not using the coconut line and it's working perfectly for us.

I've tried EVERYTHING and nothing has helped, Organix included. This did nothing for me. My head still itches after a full month of following the directions. It is lovely shampoo and conditioner, but it does nothing for an itchy head. I've switched to Aveda. It costs a small fortune, but boy is it ever effective! As silly as it sounds, I burst into tears after using Aveda the first time.
