I just love coconut in my personal care products!! I have thick corse hair and this stuff along with the conditioner makes my hair soft and manageable. The stuff smells amazing, lathers well and washes out nicely.

I've used a ton of expensive shampoos over the years to deal with my dry, wavy hair. I always succumb to my (fabulous) stylist's recommendations, but I haven't found anything better than this shampoo, and the price is right. Good for daily or less frequent shampooing. I have to avoid most fragrances due to allergies, but the coconut does not bother me and is incredibly pleasant. The coconut conditioner from Organix is equally outstanding.

This product contains DMDM Hydantoin, which can release or contain carcinogenic formaldehyde. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't consider this organic or natural

I was really hesitant to try this, based on some of the reviews (which I read after I purchased it). I am extremely careful about what products I put on my hair- it's in very good condition and I usually use expensive natural brands to avoid silicones, SLS, etc. However, I loved the smell of this and needed to pare down my product expenses, so decided to go for it. I really love this coconut line of products. After a few uses, it made my hair very shiny, super soft, and manageable, and also brought out my natural wave. Also, my scalp is not itchy (as it can get if shampoo is too harsh), and I don't have any trouble with tangling or dryness- my hair actually feels more moisturized than usual. My husband is also using it and his hair has been extremely soft and manageable (he has coarse, wavy hair). I think some of the trouble people have been having is due to the lack of sulfates- the shampoo doesn't lather the same way "regular" shampoo does, so it may take your hair time to get used to it. As a note, I have fine, wavy, shoulder-length hair, and use this with the conditioner, followed by the split-ends mender and cherry-blossom defrissant as leave-ins. I've been using these for a month and my hair hasn't looked this good in years. Great products at a great price, I'm glad I took a chance on it!

I use this shampoo everyday. It gives my curly hair a clean start and defined curl. I love the way it feels and smells. Its also sulfate free which is good for daily use.
