I've been taking this for about a year, with breakfast and supper as recommended. The new formula has a milder, less sweet lemon flavor but I still find it palatable. The texture is smoother as well (it used to be somewhat grainy). The new formula ups the vitamin D amount from 500 to 600 mg., in line with current research indicating that the RDA for this vitamin is way too low..

I've been a long time user of this product and was particularly drawn to it because it is so easy to take and actually tasted terrific! I was even able to get my daughters to take it, which is so important with a family history of osteoporosis.HOWEVER, I am very unhappy with my latest shipment. They have apparently changed the formula and now it is chalky and unpleasant. [...] I'm very disappointed and am searching for an alternative calcium supplement because of it.

Love that the tablets are chewable and dissolve quite quickly. No after-taste. I am happy to have this product delivered directly to my door by Drugstore.com. For some reason, these tablets are difficult to find in my area -- the stores either don't carry OsCal Chewable tablets, or they are never in stock when I need them. I will be ordering regularly in the future from Drugstore. com from now on. Since I take two tablets every day, I go through them rather quickly.

This is something I will take every day of my life as I need lots of extra calcium. I like Oscal Calcium because of no sugar or carbs and it is the first item I have found like this.

I've been diagnosed with Osteopenia and don't want to take prescription medications for it. I was delighted to find Os-Cal, the brand my doctor recommended, in a chewable form. I've been told that the chewable tablets absorb into your body faster. Combined with excercize every day I believe I will be able to prevent having to take those meds with so many side effects.

I have taken several different types of calcium supplements & find this one most flavorful. Don't mind taking my calcium now. Having Vit D with the calcium is also a plus.
