I love this product!! Once the grays start coming through and you are waiting for your next salon appointment, you do have to touch up after every wash, but it is sooooo quick and easy that it's not a big deal. It takes a matter of minutes to touch up my part and I am ready to go!!!!! Strongly recommend.

Don't expect this would replace your regular hair coloring; it's not meant to last long. However, it's a great tool for a fast touch up when crunching time. I keep one at home and one at work, and this pen has become a staple in my cosmetics bag! :)

Under my brown hair coloring is complete salt & pepper hair. I part my hair and the gray roots show through within two weeks after I color my hair. It drives me crazy but I can't afford to color my roots every 2 weeks. I've tried "hair mascara" but it doesn't work well because my hair is so thick that the brush gets stuck while I am applying it. I've been looking for something else to use & I've found it. The product is easy to use, the color covered the gray perfectly & it lasted until I had my next color applied. I love this product!

I used this to touch up gray roots. It worked fine, and the color was good.

The applicator brush requires you to force too much product out to reach the tip of the brush, then it gets clumpy very quickly. I got a lot on my fingers and scalp trying to get the product onto the hair where I needed it.

The waste of product makes the price really steep, but it's good to have SOMETHING to use in a pinch and it does work.

For years I have been searching for a product that will cover my gray roots between touch-ups. I've tried everything out there including crayons and liquid sponge applicators. This product is the best I've tried. However, you need to be cautious with turning the dial or you could end up wasting product. Also, great care must be taken to avoid getting any of the product on your scalp.

This is a fabulous between salon coloring root touch up product. It takes more work than the usual, dab on and run hair mascaras because it has to be used on completely dry hair, you have to apply it carefully, and it can be messy if you don't let it dry thoroughly before you touch or comb your hair. If you have the time and patience to follow the package directions to the letter, this gives the most professional, even, natural looking color and gray cover. It's effective and excellent, just not as quick and easy as some, but definitely worth the time and effort if you want a really great look.
