I use this on my elbows every morning and night; they are so soft! I use mineral Makeup and mix a small amount of the shea butter with BE Bisque to use as an undereye concealer. My undereye area stays hydrated all day long. I've tried a lot of (pure) shea butter brands, but this is my favorite. The texture of this one was exceptionally difficult to remove from the jar. Once I removed it (poking really hard), small chunks did not rub in. They were all over the place. The scent was also unpleasing. I would only apply it at night prior to going to bed. On the other hand, it did moisturize my skin, but the grit and the longer time to apply were not worth it in the end. My brother's elbows are the same way so I think it's hereditary. I've tried so many products and everything else only worked for an hour at the most. This stuff keeps my elbows mousiterized all day. It is hard to work with as you need to rub it in hard or warm it up first, but it works very well on your skin. The smell isn't the best and it's hard to wash off your hands, but it is pure shea butter. It definitely works better for me than other moisturizers and I'd rather use this than lots of cortisone. So a friend of mine told me to go natural. Use African Black Soap and follow with 100% natural Shea butter every morning and night. I did this and my skin looks the best it has in YEARS! This was a good size and a quarter of the price. It's great for cuticles, eczema, dry heels, dry elbows, and irritated skin. Steriod creams and ointments are often necessary, but using this has reduced my use of them.

It comes in an abundant round jar and offers alot of product for the value compared to equivalent products of high end competitors. The butter is actually very hard, but easily scrapes out (I use the back of my nails) and melts in between your hands for a smooth luxurious application. I use it for dry skin and to prevent pregnancy stretchmarks. Like any shea butter, it goes on somewhat greasy but then slowly absorbs into the skin. The smell is as expected -- it smells like shea butter! -- with no overpowering fragrances or artificial scents. I would recommend this product for anyone that is looking for a well-priced, natural shea butter product.
