Comments about Out Of Africa 100% Pure & Unrefined Shea Butter Tin, Unscented, 5 oz:
Here are some dos and don'ts - don't leave shea butter in a hot place because it will melt (but it doesn't ruin it and it will harden again when it cools). Do warm it in your hands before spreading om your body. It goes on much more easily.
This is a wonderful foot softener. I used a well-known heal cream for years but now just use this and Out of Africa's Body Butter to keep my heels and feel soft. It works better for me (and my husband) My feet went from calloused "old lady feet" to soft and pink. I also used to use Glide between a couple of my toes, because they chafe when I walk a lot and get blisters, but now I don't need it. I just use a little bit of this between my toes and after 30 years of problems I havn;'t gotten one blister since I started using it.
I have also found this shea butter to be very helpful with healing closed wounds more quickly and lessening the appearance of some scars.
I get the unscented for my husband. The unscented has a little bit of shea butter smell to it which some people don't like. I definetly prefer the grapefruit and lemon verbena, but I don't mind the unscented.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Pure Shea Butter may harden in cooler temperatures, this is natural. Soften by rubbing between the palms of your hands before applying. Gently massage into dry, chapped skin or anywhere added moisture is needed. Because of its ultra-rich consistency, our shea butter may take a few minutes longer to absorb, but the results are well worth the wait. A small dab goes a long way! Use daily for best results.
