It's like having a salt scrub every day. It literally leaves your skin squeaky clean and also moisturized at the same time. I love that it's all natural and that the purchase directly supports the women who make it. I would buy a case of it! I like that it actually FEELS like it's doing something, and although I've yet to see results with ingrown hairs and rough patches, it definitely leaves me with less grime... when I rub my skin in or after the shower post-soaping I no longer get that feeling of dirty skin flaking off. Interestingly though, even though the soap is supposed to have a good amount of shea butter in it my skin still feels a little dry after using it, albeit squeaky clean. Comments about Out Of Africa Pure Shea Butter Bar Soap, Exfoliating Bar, Apricot, 3.75 oz: You can eliminate your loofah for good if you use this soap. It is the most exfoliating bar soap I have ever used and I absolutely love it. I have KP on the back of my arms and it has lessened since I've been using this. It may be bit too abrasive for those with sensitive skin. Pros

Comments about Out Of Africa Pure Shea Butter Bar Soap, Exfoliating Bar, Apricot, 3.75 oz: This is one of the best soaps I have ever used. I bought it becasue the product details mentioned that it is made of 20% shea butter. I have normal skin which is not sensitive and I like trying different products. I could feel the difference after my first use. Although less fragrant, it's definitely better that the more expensive shower gels I have been using from The Body Shop and Bath and Body Works.I rubbed the soap gently and slowly all over my body paying special attention to my elbows, knees and heels. The appearance of my heels really improved after the first couple of uses. I would not recommend it for the face especially if you have sensitive skin, but I used it on my face nevertheless by rubbing it very very slowly and it worked great. The soap lasts long and lathers really well, the only negetive aspect is that I don't like the smell...I am not sure if it has a smell at all. It would be great if the exfoliating bar would be in lavender or vanilla scent. I also used the Out of Africa lavender bar on my hands and it did a great job in improving the look of my hands because it did not dry my hands like the highly fragrant top brand fancy liquid soaps. Another thing worth mentioning, these soaps lather so well that I had a very smooth shave which took me by surprise! In short, really great product with a great cause that stands true to its standard. Pros

Comments about Out Of Africa Pure Shea Butter Bar Soap, Exfoliating Bar, Apricot, 3.75 oz: This bar is amazing, it exfoliates to the maximum degree. May be too rough for people with sensitive skin. It gets rid of the bumps on the back of my thighs that I get in the winter time. It is way too rough for the hands or face; this is definitely only any exfoliant for the body. Pros

Comments about Out Of Africa Pure Shea Butter Bar Soap, Exfoliating Bar, Apricot, 3.75 oz: This small bar is better than jars of body scrub that I've bought and paid a lot more for. I use this all over my body and feet about once or twice a week. As other commenters stated, you don't need to apply much pressure. This product exceeded my expectations and I'm very impressed. I will continue to buy this over and over again! Pros

Comments about Out Of Africa Pure Shea Butter Bar Soap, Exfoliating Bar, Apricot, 3.75 oz: I purchased this to exfoliate my skin when I shower. It works great but you don't need much pressure for it to exfoliate. I wouldn't recommend for sensitive skin. I have purchased several ethnic products to even skin tones and to use for acne. ![]() |
