I just LOVE this soap, it is the only one I use on my face when I shower each morning. It smells good, feels good, and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. I can't say enough good things about this soap. Try it once and you will use only it.

This is now my favorite soap. I have sensitive, dry skin and find this soap truly non-drying and moisturizing, gentle enough for face. I love the vanilla fragrance, although it does seem to vary a bit from bar to bar. I have liked many of the Out of Africa products.

Not so impressed with this soap. The scent is ok. Washes ok. I think it is overpriced for what you get.

Not only is it supper natural (nothing synthetic including fragrance, it's essential oil) and socially conscious it's actually a great bar of soap! I can have sensitivity to other soaps even Dr, Bronner's but no sensitivity here. It cleans well, is moisturizing but not too much and lasts a good while plus it supports education for children in West Africa and PBS educational programs - it's the BEST!

I LOVE this soap! I use it in the shower for may face only. My skin feels soft and I do believe it is part of the reason why everyone says I don't look my age. I would HIGHLY recommend it

I initially bought this soap for my face this spring- my skin is dry in the winter, but the super heavy moisturizing cleanser i had been using clogged my pores and broke my out, so i thought i would give this a try. I love the smell, love the fact that it contains so much shea butter which people have been using for centuries to care for their skin. It feels really good on my face and no more clogged pores!

I was looking for a non drying bar soap for my spouse and I to share, instead of having a bar soap AND a shower gel in the shower. This soap worked fine, but I wasn't a huge fan of the scent. It didn't smell bad. But it didn't smell good, either. It lathers nicely and doesn't dry out our skin. But I think I will be going back to my favorite Giovanni bar soap, as it smells wonderful, and also doesn't seem to dry our skin out. Between the two, though, this shea butter soap is the least drying. I would have to recommend it over any other bar soap I've tried to those with really dry skin.
