Comments about Out Of Africa Shea Butter Handwash, Geranium, 8 oz:
I really like Out of Africa products. They always rate high with EWG. Though I'm not obsessed about products being all-organic, I look for items without parabens, etc. The shea butter lotions smell nice and are rich but I'd never tried the soap before. Sometimes the raw shea better scent overpowers but with this product the geranium comes through. It might even be a bit too floral for some people, especially men. I'm never sure what geranium is supposed to smell like but this smells a bit like roses and it's a natural, not synthetic, scent to me. We don't need to use a lot of it. The bottle is a smaller size, which I like, and the label is pretty so it looks good on the bathroom counter. It's a bit on the thicker side but not so thick that you have to pump hard. And I prefer thick to thin. I think the richness must be the shea butter. The soap doesn't dry my hands but they feel cleaner than with some other moisturizing washes. I'm going to get the geranium hand lotion and body wash too. Though not as cheap as some other "natural" products, Out of Africa is a great value (and some proceeds go to charity.)
