I use this for acne breakouts on my upper back and this works well. The formula is surprisingly more gentle and moisturizing than other brands acne body washes- neutrogena, clean & clear. Oxy has always been the maker of powerful spot treatment, so I was expecting this to dry me out, but the name is true its a "hydrating body wash for acne" I can use this daily on my back as well as the rest of my body and arms without getting any dryness. It has a decent foam which is enough to get you clean yet not strip your natural oils. The scent is bland, it has a chemicalish note to it, but it's also neutral and mild so not bothersome. I let this sit on my back for a few minutes before rinsing. It really helps to treat the acne. I can't say it dries the acne up, because my skin doens't feel dry like with most acne body washes, but whatever it does it works. This was under $5 which is an incredible price for medicated body wash. It uses Salicyclic acid 2% to treat acne, most oxy brand products use benzoyl peroxide which is really drying, but this one doesn't. I am 26 and I think this is a great product for people who have normal/dry body skin with acne as well as people who have oily teenager skin. Pleased and will repurchase from drugstore.com as they had the best price.
