I've been breaking out, probably because I switched birth control pills to a lower estrogen dose. Anyways, I was in search of something to help my acne. I used this for awhile (only on my t-zone) and it seemed to work, but it dried out my eyelids and cheeks even though I didn't wash that area with Oxy (probably the soapy run-off.) I had to use aquaphor on my eyelids because the skin became so dry and bright red. I had to smear a heavy moisturizer on my entire face even though I've never had to do that before. The wash worked pretty well but having to deal with dry, flaky skin for me wasn't worth it so I stopped using the product. If your skin is super oily and doesn't get irritated I'm sure this will work for you, but if you have even regular to dry skin, keep away from this it will make you flake. I'm on Retin-a Micro .04% and have heard that benzoyl peroxide and tretinoin(the ingredient in Retin-a Micro)could cause a bad reaction or neutralize each other. I find that the two maybe work better on my skin together than each by themsevles. I don't know if its Oxy or Retin-a micro but my skin just keeps getting clearer and after several months of too much acne, I am highly impressed. Pros

I recently began breaking out a lot this summer and a still don't know why.The 10% BP that the doctor prescribed worked slowly and it made my breakouts very red before drying out the area where applied. I used this for two days and it undid the damage, I also used the Oxy spot treatment right after. I'm on the third day and happy with the results. I would recommend using this at night before bed at first. I have used BP for a while and have become accustomed to it but if you're not then start off slow. GOOD LUCK ! :] Pros

I would recommend massaging face for 30-60 seconds to allow the medicine to penetrate and act. Only use in the shower...that way you have adequate pressure to wash it completely off. Washing your face in the basin...you can leave remnants of the medicine & that may irritate your skin. Pros
