Queen of the Flowers
The rose, a symbol of love and beauty, was called "the queen of the flowers' by the Greek poet, Sappho. Our blend of Bulgarian rose, subtle violet, myrrh and delicate fruit is a nod to the floral empire of the Persians, the kings of perfume in the 9th century. During that time, Persians produced rose oil for perfumes called attar to rose, meaning the fat of the flower. Persian poets such as Rumi drew strong connections between the rose and spiritual epiphany. Spiritual, elegant and classic.
