Very reasonable price. Important to keep skin pliable around a recent scar. After knee replacement I have used it alot so the skin is well moisturized. My incision is healed so I put it all over my knee. Palmers is a good brand. Used their 'mother's friend' years ago and got no stretch marks.

It takes a few applications to stop from pulling. I recommend using a towel to rub off a couple layers. After I use for two large scars. I have been using it and has not made them worse. I am currently treating them with Mederma too and it has not stopped progress.

After reading the reviews, I figured I would try this product instead of the Mederma version. I've noticed a slight improvement in one of my scars, but that's not enough for me to be sold on this product. The smell is nice, but the product doesn't absorb well at all, and ends up just laying on top of my skin. It doesn't feel like it is that productive. Probably would not buy again.

I recommend this product to my patients for minimizing scars in addition to Palmer's cocoa butter with vitamin E (in the tub because it is more concentrated). What I like about the scar stick is that it has sunscreen in it because scars are more prone to burns than the surrounding skin and if it burns then the scar is more pronounced. The scar stick is also a perfect travel size so that you can keep it with you and put it on the scar anytime you are exposed to the sun. My husband uses it on a scar that he has on the back of his neck.
