Used for about a year. The guard has had a crack in it for the last 4 months or so and then it went ahead and broke. Can't find the parts to just replace the guard. Would be a good trimmer if guard was better made.

[...] The charger is also the stand so it takes a lot of wall space and an outlet.It works OK for beards, not so great on hair because it runs on a battery and does not have a lot of power.The beard length adjustment is not very good so I found it hard to get the right length.The steel blades need cleaning and oiling, which is a pain if you use it 'wet' a lot.The mini-trimmer is a bit flimsy.Even on sale fo [$], I would recommend spending a little more on something nicer than live with this one.

I have been useing these shavers for over 30 years. This one is a mixed bag. I like the wide head which makes it easier to establish a straight line on your neck. Others with more narrow heads are prone to lap marks. It is a sleak looking unit sitting in its charger which i did not like a first but on second thought makes good sense as the unit cannot run down. It shaves poorly however. I must use a razor after trimming to get close. Also it is not forgiving as some others if you do not observe the contours of your face. If you do not you may get a gouge in your beard.

The description stated corded/cordless. It is actually only cordless. Trimming hair around the ears is not as easy as I had thought. The cleaning of hair off the trimmer is not so easy/convenient.

For short hair-absolutely the best. Had previous model and thought it was good. New model is just plain great. Short hairs get caught in shaver front structure,which requires some additional cleaning when cutting hair, but overall, fantastic.

I am pleased to see "MISSES HAIRS" as an option for reviewing this product. To not get into analyzing why, I can run this trimmer right over my hair, and it not cut a single one, even on the lowest setting. My hair is vefry thin, and this may work great for those with thicker hair. I do not know, but for me, I can't get it to cut my hairs to save my life. The design is very good apart from missing the principle function of a hair trimmer.

Simply said - I bought this for my husband and it could not cut thru his hair. Blades don't seem to be powerful enough or sharp enough to make a clean cut. Don't waste your money.
