I have been using epilators for a long time and this one is much gentler than others I've used. But my skin did not feel quite as smooth the first time I used it. It made me wonder if it was working right, but it did leave my skin smoother after a few times. Now I just need to use it every 5-10 days and do not have stubble like you get after shaving. Overall, I am satisfied.

I always use this product in the shower, and it always does a great job. It is much more comfortable for me than shaving and irritates my skin much less. Less time is required to remove hair, and I just love not having to shave during a week at the beach!

It needs a lot of time to finish the trimmer process and during this procedure it hurts. When doing the epilation, it misses a lot of hair. It works better in dry use, but it isn't the product that I will reccomend to have. It doesn't make noise and it's not doesn't irritates the skin, but it doesn't do the main function that I bougt it: shaving and epilating.

I owned the dry only version for 4 years before it started to work less effectively, so I got this one. Keep in mind I only use this product for epilating, not shaving. You cannot epilate your hair when it's wet because the hair shaft is not as strong as when it's dry, so it more often just breaks the hair. I'm sure this product would be fab for shaving in the shower, but if you don't do that, then it's much more cost effective to get the dry version.

Other than that, I believe this product is an AMAZING epilator.

I've had very little experience with epilators, but this one seems to be pretty fair. My first choice was to get a Braun, but I received this as a gift. What I really don't like about this epilator, is that it seems to pull off only pieces of some hair. Because of this, the first time of use didn't make my legs all that smooth. Also it takes a long time. I ended up taking the pink shield off so I could make the process a little faster. Also, I would prefer to have an epilator that you plug in instead of charge, although this one seems to hold a charge for quite a while. I've yet to try wet epilation, maybe it would pull more hairs from the root instead of in half.

I have tried epilators in the past, and they were torture devices, but this Panasonic changed my mind. It is gentle, but may take a little getting used to. I have a very low pain threshold, and I loved this from Day 1! It leaves your legs smooth for days at a time. I used to shave my legs daily, but this epilator is a joy to use, easy to clean, and the instructions are easy. Definitely has changed my routine for the better. Great price also (I shopped around).
