I was told by my dentist to get a water flosser because I have a difficult time flossing with string floss where I have dental work (ie. crowns). I researched all of the major brands and many of them had very bad reviews regarding maintaining water pressure. The Panasonic had the best reviews, so that is what I went with. Even though this is technically a travel flosser, I use it every day! It has held up wonderfully over the past couple of months. I still get great water pressure every time. When you first start flossing with any water flosser, there is a little to be learned. You will discover how to use this flosser more efficiently so you will not need to refill the water chamber as often. I am down to two fills each time. It takes less than 30 seconds to refill it. After using this product I don't think I can ever live without it again! If you are looking at cutting down on dental bills and bad breath, I highly suggest you buy this. VS Most Liked Negative Review Needs batteries weekly or more I am very disappointed in this product. It needs new batteries weekly. I'd rather have one very fast super speed than one slow and one fast speed. I never use the slow speed. Now it stopped working altogether. But I probably WILL buy a new one. It's good the first few days new batteries are put in. REVIEWS Reviewed by 15 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Best Uses Comments about Panasonic Portable Oral Irrigator, EW-DJ10-A, 1 ea: This pocket size unit is the best yet; works better than a big Water-Pic. Not lots of pieces to drop, lose, or break. I have four of these; all are flawless. Best part is that no recharger needed; just change cheap AA batteries & keep going. It fits in pocket or purse, little leakage. I keep these in car, home, & at work. Of the hundred-plus units I have owned, these are the absolute best. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Panasonic Portable Oral Irrigator, EW-DJ10-A, 1 ea: I had never used a dental irrigator before, so I expected the stream of water to be too strong for me at first. Quite the contrary--it is so weak, even with fresh batteries, that I cannot imagine it has any effect at all. Other users spoke of all the food particles that remained after flossing and brushing that were dislodged with this product. My own experience was that after flossing and using my Sonicare toothbrush I saw absolutely no additional food particles dislodged with this product. Not one. Pros

Comments about Panasonic Portable Oral Irrigator, EW-DJ10-A, 1 ea: I have to use a water flosser since I've had several gum surgeries and traditional flossing isn't effective enough. I've had two water flossers made by another company. They required charging, which was fine, but the batteries started losing power after about four months, and the cleaning wasn't as thorough as when the product was new. So, I decided to give this a try. It works well, is very effective and very easy to use. I've had mine about a month and I have not changed the batteries, but I will probably change them this week because I can tell a slight difference in the water spray pressure. I especially like that I can collapse this flosser, making it easy to pack. I would definitely buy this again. Pros

Comments about Panasonic Portable Oral Irrigator, EW-DJ10-A, 1 ea: With all crowns/implants and wife & kids with braces; I go through "waterpicks" @ 6 0r 8/year. I used to buy them wholesale in cartons of six. This new PanaSonic is absolutely the BEST unit of any type or brand I have ever used, Have 3 & plan to buy several more. It is the latest evolution of the genre and fills a real need. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Panasonic Portable Oral Irrigator, EW-DJ10-A, 1 ea: This is my first water flosser....I bought one for myself and each of my daughters. We all think it's great, but don't have experience comparing it to other brands. I've been running on the same batteries for about a month, and they don't seem drained, but I only use the gentle spray setting. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Panasonic Portable Oral Irrigator, EW-DJ10-A, 1 ea: I have tried portable oral irrigators in other brands and have always been disappointed. This one - so far - seems highly superior. It has plenty of force, and is incredibly compact. I cannot speak to battery life as it is fairly new. Anyone who has never used a device like this has NO IDEA how much thorough toothbrushing AND flossing leave behind! Pros

Comments about Panasonic Portable Oral Irrigator, EW-DJ10-A, 1 ea: I have had all the irrigators. This one is not the most powerful , but it is the best available. The battery supply is 2 AA as opposed to rechargeable ones that don't last very long. The portability is a plus and although the resovoir is small it is well made. The newer model has two speeds for softer and harder water flow. For [$] it is worth the buy. ![]() |
