This product is not very effective as a scrub. The sugar grains are way too fine and the jar contains mostly oil. I usually use my body scrubs dry, before showering, to get the most effect out of them before rinsing them down the drain. That was not reasonable with this product because the sugar dissolved so quickly. Then I tried using it in the shower. Went right down the drain before touching my skin. I gave up on using this as an exfoliant. Instead I applied it right after my shower before drying myself off, rubbing in in, and then rinsing it off. The sugar dissolves but the oil remains leaving your skin moisturized and smelling fresh (slightly lemony). Basically it replaces the need for a body lotion after showering but doesn't exfoliate like it's supposed to. I only got 3 uses out of the entire jar. IMO it's too expensive to purchase again.
